Bittersweet Notions Of Forever

Chapter 66: Don't Go

It was past twelve am, and you gazed out on the dark lake. The light from the grey moon rested upon the river, lighting it up. You watched the waves move and listened to the tranquil sound.

You liked standing on the balcony and looking out. It was becoming colder as summer time was soon over.

You wore a black satin kimono that hugged your figure elegantly, and you tightened the robes around your waist. You shuddered and hugged yourself.

The night breeze wasn't too cold, it was light and soothing. Hence, you liked to stand on the balcony. You could feel the fresh breeze linger on your skin, and it was calming.

You gripped the metal railing and looked down. You hadn't tried your pool yet, and you sighed. You had to get a dip in it before it becomes too cold to swim.

You bit on your bottom lip, suppressing your giggle as a thought crossed your mind. It had been a few days since you had dinner with your parents and in-laws, the night Soo Hyuk told you that he likes you.

You sighed deeply, feeling like you were still in dream. You waited to get waken by someone and get pulled back to reality.

Things were going so smooth, too good right now, and you feared that something bad would happen soon, something bad always happened, when things started to get good between you and Soo Hyuk.

You just wanted everything to be good, but you know that it is a naïve thought. Nothing is perfect. No one is perfect.

You were delved in your own thoughts that you hadn't heard the door to the balcony open. You gazed down on the lake, blankly and sighed softly once more.

A gasp of surprise escaped through your lips, when you felt a familiar pair of strong arms slide around your slender waist and pull you against a hard body.

"Hi." He breathed against your ear.

A shudder ran down your spine at the sound of his deep tone. He was finally home. You closed your eyes, feeling the heat from his body emit off him and to you.

Your back began to heat up from his warmth, making you feel warm in the breezy night. You could feel his hard, rippled muscles press against your softness.

"How was work?" You asked in a small tone.

He grabbed a fistful of your hair in his grip, and pushed your hair to the side, revealing your neck. You bit hard on your bottom lip, when he pressed his mouth on the pulse on your neck. He sucked onto your skin lightly and you started to breathe low and deeply.

"Long as usual. You got off early." He said against your neck, and you replied with a small nod.

"Did you stay up for me, baby?" He asked.

He trailed his soft and full lips down your neck. You breathed shakily, and your heart picked up its pace.

"Yes." You managed to breathe out. He nipped onto your soft skin and you gasped softly.

"Umm." He purred, and you groaned, when he grazed his teeth into your skin, leaving a mark behind.

"Such a good wife." He said, his deep voice sent a shudder down your spine, and you sighed deeply.

He moved his hand out front, and you groaned, when he cupped your breast and squeezed it through the thin fabric.

"Oh. God." He groaned, when he realized that you weren't wearing a bra underneath your kimono.
