Bittersweet Notions Of Forever
Chapter 70: Petty Fight
The car pulled over in the yard of your house, and he turned off the ignition. The car quieted down quickly, falling back asleep. You opened the door and stepped out quickly.
Soo Hyuk got out as well, and he went to the trunk of the car, opened it, and pulled out a few bags.
You reached over to grab some bags from the trunk, but he stepped in front of you, blocking you and your eyes flickered up to his.
"I got it." He stated in a clear tone.
"There are a lot of stuff, you'll have to walk rounds to carry them all up." You said.
You grabbed two bags and strode off before he could complain and act all macho. Soo Hyuk grabbed a few bags, leaving his trunk open, and he followed suit. You were walking up the stairs. He was right behind you.
You placed the bags on the island in the kitchen, and Soo Hyuk did the same. You turned your gaze towards him and your eyes locked for a split second. You hadn't really spoken since your last conversation.
"I'll take care of it, go and rest." He said as his eyes remained locked with yours. His eyes were so deep and expressive.
You stepped closer to him, leaned up to him and gently pressed your lips on his, surprising him. Your hands slowly moved up his solid stomach, to his hard chest and then around his neck.
You pulled your body closer to his, feeling him become tense. You kissed him a bit harder, and he finally gripped your hips, pulled you into his hard front and kissed you back even harder. You wanted to assure him that it was alright now. He was finally kissing you back.
You hummed pleased against his lips, and you tugged onto his bottom lip, nibbling on to his lip, and he grunted back. The corner of your lips curved up to a small smile against his lips.
You pulled back slightly, letting your lips graze over his, and your breaths mingled. His body tensed up and he felt hard, so manly. You stared at his face. His eyes were closed and his jaw was clenched.
"I can help, don't worry about it." You assured him, and he breathed sharply, and his eye lids slowly lifted.
"Just carry a few bags to the stairs, and I will take them up." He said, staring into your eyes, and you nodded.
You pecked his lips a couple of times before pulling back. You reached your hand behind him and grabbed onto his very firm bottom with a coy smile. He tensed up, looking stunned for a second, and then you walked away, letting out a soft giggle.
"You are driving me insane." You heard him groan.
"C'mon, we have to stuff all the food in the fridge, and the chocolate will melt." You said from the hall and you could finally hear his approaching footsteps.
Some time passed by and the pair of you managed to empty all the bags and stuff the food in the fridge and the cabinets.
You breathed deeply and walked off to sit down on the couch. You lazily moved your body, and your body gave away as soon as you sank into the couch, and you sighed tiredly.
"Nara?" Soo Hyuk suddenly called out your name, and you hummed as you laid down on the couch.
The couch was nice and cozy. It was so comfortable, you could fall asleep on it, and your eyelid slowly closed.
"Babe, you've not eaten yet." He reminded you as he approached you.
It was already lunch time, and the pair of you hadn't had breakfast yet. You placed your arm over your eyes and groaned.
