Bittersweet Notions Of Forever
Chapter 90: The Assigned Terminator
Just as Soo Hyuk had told, a driver from his company came to pick you up at ten am in front of your house.
You walked down the lawn and looked at the black car in front of you, wondering about whom the driver was.
Once you got close enough, the driver stepped out of the car, and your eyes drifted towards him. He wasn't an older man, old like Mr. Byung Chul. This man seemed young, maybe at the age of Soo Hyuk. He was tall like Soo Hyuk.
Dressed in a black suit, white blouse tucked inside his pants, a black tie, and black shades, he literally looked like a federal worker or even someone from the movies M.I.B.
His hair was short. He had an army cut and fade. He had a serious expression as his jawline was clenched and his eyes narrowed. His expression seemed hard.
Seen as he looked like the terminator. He oozed vibes of a military man. He looked quite dangerous, but loyal and trustworthy.
Surely, your husband had picked out his strongest and most dangerous looking man amongst his bodyguards and security guards.
You threw a final glance at your white sports car that was parked. You puckered your lips together and let out a sigh.
Having that alone drive time was joyful, whether the drive was long or short, because your alone time in your car was mainly about singing your lunges out, blasting loud music, and bobbing your head to your favorite boy bands and music. You couldn't have the thrill of that for a while now.
You turned around and looked up at the huge tower in front of you. He didn't even smile. He had a blank look. He looked so intimidating, but that was a good thing. You needed this right?
Soo Hyuk had ordered this, because he was genuinely worried about your safety. It was very kind of him, and it did somewhat warm your heart, seeing that he cared.
"Hello." You piped out with your hand extended to greet him.
You stiffened, when he didn't grab your hand, but instead, he lowered his head, and you did the same. He had manners. That was a good thing.
Once he straightened his posture, he cleared his throat and you furrowed your brows. He moved his hand up, grabbed his shades, and took them off. Your eyes widened a bit and slowly.
Finally, you could look into his eyes and see who this man is. He had sharp eyes, monolids. He pursed his lips and a little smile formed on his face.
Now, he looked like a young boy, and so different. But that smile seemed to only last for a second. He was back to his stone-face-expression and looked like a terminator.
Somehow, this man reminded of someone very particular, someone unlike anyone else on this planet. Maybe the two were good friends.
"Mrs. Lee, I've been instructed to be your driver, but most importantly, I am your bodyguard. Therefore, I must guarantee your safety. Your safety is my priority. I need to know of your whereabouts and inform Mr. Lee Hyuk Soo on a daily basis."
You weren't taken back at the first part, but the last senses which he had uttered shocked you as you hadn't expected that.
Bodyguard?
Know of my whereabouts and inform them to Soo Hyuk on a daily basis?
He folded his arms over his front, looking like a drill instructor. You looked up at him, not breaking off your stare as your eyes narrowed, brows furrowed.
