Chapter 18: Mixed Feelings

Soo Hyuk was at a party now, which one of his friends threw to celebrate his promotion. Soo Hyuk stood at a corner, and laughed with his old friends, Young Kwang, Jong Hyun, Woo Bin and Sung Joon.

"How is it going with your café?" Woo Bin asked Jong Hyun.

Jong Hyun looked up with a smile on his face and he chuckled. "It's going quite well." He replied and the guys grinned knowing exactly how well his café was doing.

"Come by soon." He added with a smile.

Sung Joon chuckled- "A lot of hot and pretty girls come there. It's always crammed."

Jong Hyun and the rest of the boys laughed, knowing how true that was. Soo Hyuk cracked up and shook his head at his friend. Woo Bin grinned and looked at Jong Hyun.

"I should come then." Woo Bin said with enthusiasm.

The boys all laughed and Jong Hyun rolled his eyes at his friends.

"They come because the café owner is handsome." Young Kwang added with a cheeky grin on plastered on his handsome face.

"And that's why he opened a café. He knew that he would get girls this way." Sung Joon added with a chuckle and teased Jong Hyun.

The boys continued laughing off. Jong Hyun groaned at his friend's teasing. But Soo Hyuk placed his arm on his friend's shoulder and laughed.

"Hey kiddo. It's all jokes." He said and Jong Hyun laughed back.

Jong Hyun knew it was just banter between his friends. That's how they were, when they all got together. They always had fun. What most people thought that they would be doing is partying, but they were sort of the opposite of that, although they did party from time to time.

However, when they got together, they would mostly do childish things such as going to the arcade, watching movies, going out for dinner.

They did all kinds of things together. They knew how to have a good time. Although the public knew of them as party guys.

"So, Hyuk Soo-ssi, how is going with your project with Nara-ssi?" Young Kwang asked with a secretive grin on his face.

The guys all looked at their friend and curiousity shone in their eyes. Soo Hyuk scratched the back of his neck as he thought. He had been working with you for a few days, but ever since he gave you his call to carry out your ideas, he hadn't seen you at the workplace or his office.

You got moved to the creative department quickly as your project began. You had your own office now. You were busy creating the uniforms that you hadn't even stopped by his office.

He nonchalantly shook his shoulders. Your work times even collided, so he didn't see you much at home either. He had no idea how you were working with the project.

"We are both busy." He replied and they all sighed, feeling bad. Soo Hyuk shook his head.

They boys were chatting on whilst drinking champagne and having a good time. When Soo Hyuk happened to look out and he saw Joon Hee enter the party hall and she wasn't alone.

He clenched his jaw and looked at her as she walked down the hall with her arms linked with a man. Someone whom he knew very well of and his brows furrowed in anger.

"Wait. Isn't that Joon Hee?" Young Kwang said as he had also noticed her.

The boys all looked to where Young Kwang was looking. Their eyes widened when they saw who she was with and they turned their heads around and looked at their friend Soo Hyuk. They noticed that Soo Hyuk had already seen Joon Hee and her date.
