Bittersweet Notions Of Forever
Chapter 60: Business Trip
It had been so long since you last went to Jeju Island, weeks to be exact. The memory of your last trip to Jeju was so vivid in your mind.
You would most likely never forget that time, because it was the time you had your first photoshoot with Soo Hyuk.
You remembered how nervous you were, and it was also the first time you shared a peck. Deep down, you had wanted to kiss him quite badly, but didn't have the guts and courage to do so.
Today, you were leaving to that same place again with Soo Hyuk. You were going to have a look at his resort, and you were coming along so you could get a little inspired for your upcoming presentation.
Soo Hyuk was going to have some checkups at the resort and make sure that the final construction was going as planned. He had asked you to come along, to help you with your project.
You shook your head, covering your grin with your palm. You couldn't help but to smile, because the last time you went on a business trip with him, your relationship was quite intense, it still is, but not like how it was before. It was intense on a different level now.
This time he had asked you to come. You had never imagined nor expected of such thing to ever happen to you. But Soo Hyuk was showing you his support for your project.
You were only staying at Jeju island for two nights, and it was basically just a business trip. Nevertheless, you still felt the little butterflies in your stomach come to live. You looked forward to going, and you felt excited about the entire trip.
You were currently packing your suitcase, and you only needed a few outfits, and your important items and toiletries. It didn't take long packing.
You would be meeting up with Soo Hyuk at the company. You were taking LH Group's private jet to Jeju, thankfully. It only takes one hour and five minutes getting to Jeju from Seoul.
It was only forenoon, and you would arrive to Jeju at lunch time. Once you were done packing your stuff, you headed down.
You had asked Ha Neul to drive you to the company. He had heard from your father that you were going to Jeju, and he quickly offered his help. It was typical Ha Naeul to quickly step out, but you appreciated it.
As soon as you opened the door, you were greeted by a young man in a black suit, and he wore black shades. He looked quite handsome and charming.
The corner of your lip twitched, slowly tugging upwards, and you shook your head at him, unable to hide your smile.
"Look at you." You cooed.
Ha Neul grinned back, flashing his perfect gums and contagious smile. You rolled your eyes at him, making him grin wider.
"Let me help you with that." He laughed, and reached his hand out, grabbing your suitcase.
"Holy cow, what's in this suitcase? Are you leaving for a month or something?" He joked, and you gasped at him, flabbergasted.
He strode to the car, opened the trunk and put your luggage in. All the while, he let out deep and fake groans.
"Shut it." You laughed.
You had only packed a few outfits. You reached your hand out and slapped his arm, making him laugh more, and shake his head.
"I haven't packed so much. Why are you exaggerating?" You scoffed, and scrunched your nose.
