Bittersweet Notions Of Forever

Chapter 25: Taking Care Of Him

It was the feelings of warm bubbles in a hot bathtub, the warm and soothing sunrays, the butterflies in your stomach, the giddiness of having shared yet another intimate night with him, the smile of a young woman, who finally felt like a woman, you woke up with the next day.

The soothing, and delightfulness of the warm sunrays lingered over your naked sandy colored back. The silk duvet was wrapped around your lower body and covered your front.

You slowly lifted your eyelids, you looked out to the clear blue sky and a soft sigh escaped through your rosy colored lips.

Your heart was up in your throat, threatening you to run out of you. Was this a dream, or did I actually share a wonderful night with Soo Hyuk? You asked yourself, with the warm and fuzzy feeling inside you, but that quickly disappeared, once you turned around in bed, to see his handsome face and touch him.

And you discovered much to your dismay, that your bed was empty, that you were laying there all alone. The smile you had on your face instantly faded and your heart sank. You felt the emptiness rush over you and you stared out for a moment, blinking your eyes.

You finally leaned back up and looked around the empty bedroom, your eyes trailed around the room to find your husband. He wasn't there, clearly.

You looked down the white and silk duvet that covered your body. You wrapped it tightly around your breasts, and moved your right feet out of the bed and then the other. You got up from the bed and your steps halted after you took a few steps.

You froze, as you had made a fast movement, and your head felt heavy and dizzy. You quickly sat back down on the bed. You closed your eyes for a moment and took a few deep breaths.

Maybe he was showering, maybe he was in the kitchen. You got back up on your feet after the dizziness left you and he entered your mind again.

You took off the cover from your body, when you saw your night-robe on the chair, you walked up to it and slid in it. You pulled your hair out from behind and tied the robes around your waist. You then hurried down the long and white corridor, leading into the open kitchen- and living room.

No sound, no movement, nothing could be heard, but the sound of the wind blowing and your eyebrows lifted slightly and your lips pursed.

Had he gone to work, without leaving a small message? You shook your head and walked down to the bathroom.

You opened the door and looked into the white bathroom for him. You walked in front of the showerhead and the corners of your mouth dropped. He wasn't home. He just took off.

You stood in front of the shower head and a chuckle mixed with sadness and despair escaped through your soft lips. I'm thinking too much, he is busy after all. You shook your head, as your mind got a hold of you.

You gazed down on the white tiles, the floor was wet, the walls were wet, indicating that he had taken a shower not long ago, which meant he had left not long ago. You sighed deeply.

You slid out of the white silk nightgown, kicked it back and got under the silver steel showerhead. You turned on for the water, at the medium heat- not too hot or cold, but the perfect temperature.

But of course, as soon as the water poured down on you, you gasped aloud, because it was cold and then it quickly became warm. You calmed down up upon feeling the warm and soothing water run down your frame. It almost felt like the warm water caressed your skin and removed some of the worries.
