Bittersweet Notions of Forever

Chapter 14: Business Partners

Woo Bin looked at himself in the mirror in front of him as he got his hair done by his stylist. Today was the premiere day for his newest movie and he felt anxious and yet happy.

He always had these feelings, of anxiousness and yet excitement, although he had been an actor for a while now.

He had invited his close and best friends to the movie, including you. Woo Bin had personally sent the VIP tickets to his friends and family.

The movie would begin at 8pm and it was currently 6pm. Woo Bin had to get ready early as he had a small interview before the red carpet.

The stylist ran his hands through Woo Bin's hair with the gel, he pulled his hair back and styled it neatly. Woo Bin smiled and he fetched out his phone from his pocket and called his friend. He chewed on his bottom lip and watched in the mirror how his stylist set his hair as he waited for Soo Hyuk to pick up his call.

A few seconds later, Soo Hyuk picked up the call. "Woo Bin-ie.'" Soo Hyuk called out and Woo Bin chuckled at the way his friend addressed him, so affectionately.

"Ohh, Hyuk Soo-ah." Woo Bin cooed back and couldn't suppress his laugh.

Soo Hyuk chuckled back. He was still at work and would soon get off.

"What's up?" Soo Hyuk finally said once he stopped laughing.

"You better be there." Woo Bin said and made Soo Hyuk chuckle once more.

"I will, I'm getting off in a few minutes." He replied with a smile on his lips.

There was a moment of silence before Woo Bin spoke. "Remember to come with Nara." He said in a tone that was deep and so serious.

Soo Hyuk leaned back in his black leather office chair as he gazed out in the ceiling, and he sighed at those words- "I know." And let out a deep groan and he rubbed his eyes tiredly.

"Don't ditch her and come on your own." Woo Bin quickly said with a light chuckle, and clearly teasing his older friend.

Soo Hyuk gasped in return and dropped his jaw on the ground in disbelief.

"Am I that bad?" He asked with wide eyes.

Woo Bin became silent. He grinned back as he heard the shock in his older friend's tone. He chose not to reply him on that one question. He chuckled to himself and grinned.

"I have to go now, see you later." Woo Bin quickly said.

And with that one sentence, Woo Bin hung up the call, leaving his older friend with that unanswered question. Soo Hyuk scoffed, flabbergasted and he put his phone back on the desk. He wasn't that bad, right?

Ditch her? He scoffed once more thinking about it and he shook his head and laughed.

Woo Bin was clearly teasing him. Why would he ditch you, when Woo Bin had invited you and the press expected the pair of you to be there for Woo Bin's premiere. He let out a sigh and leaned back into the chair. He closed his eyes for a moment. The press would be there.

It knocked on his door and he told the person to walk in. He quickly straightened his posture. Soo Hyuk's gaze moved up at the female at his door.

His secretary Min Ah walked up in long and confident strides to him, with her swift moves and a smile on her face.

Her eyes shined brightly, when she met the gaze of her boss. She bowed, greeting him, her red hair falling over and she tilted her head back.

She was quite a delicate woman, who looked younger than thirty. She had a fair complexion, a slim and petite body, tall and slender legs. She wore a high-black skirt with a white blouse tucked under her skirt. A gold necklace was wrapped around her slim neck.
