Bittersweet Notions Of Forever
Chapter 89
I Care
The bright morning rays lingered on your eyes. You slowly lifted your eyelids and looked out at the clear blue skies that you could see from your bedroom view. You let out a soft sigh, stretched your body, turned around and looked out.
The bed was empty, you stared at his side of the bed for a bit before your eyes drifted to the clock on the nightstand. It was past eight am. You were up so early.
Soo Hyuk had already gone to work, and you wouldn't see him until the night arrives. He often comes home late from the company.
You got out of the bed, and began your morning routine, shower, and breakfast. Once you were dressed, you left the house, got inside your car, and sped off to your sacred little place.
You dialed your friend's number and had a long chat with her as you drove off to your studio apartment. Soo Ah had been busy with her salon lately.
"I'm glad that you can finally work on your dream." She said, and you cooed.
"I still have to think of a theme for my collection." You told and she hummed, thinking deeply.
"Do you have any ideas?" She asked.
"Not really." You told.
"Hmm, maybe you should think of your own experiences." Soo Ah advised.
You parked your car outside the studio. The streets and the alley that led to your studio was vacant. It always seemed so deserted here.
You turned off the ignition and the speaker to your phone. You pressed your phone to your ear as you stepped out of the car.
"I'm at the studio now." You said.
"I don't know why you would still go there, when Soo Hyuk says that it isn't a safe place." She finally said and you breathed in deeply as you strode down the alley, leading to the building.
"I know, he wont like it, but I'm sure nothing will happen, nothing has ever happened to me in this place before." You assured her.
Soo Ah sighed deeply.
"You've been here countless of times, and know that this place isn't that bad, not that many crimes happen here, and crimes can happen anywhere." You stated further.
"I will come by later." She said in a tired voice.
"Alright, I'm going to hang up now." You cooed.
Your steps came to a halt, when you finally stopped in front of the grey old building. You opened the door and headed inside.
The grey walls seemed worn out compared to the last time you had been here. The stairways needed new paint. It was time to invest a bit of money into this building.
Since you had bought your studio, you made sure that the place got painted frequently. The building wasn't worn out or about to fall apart, but it just needed a loving touch.
Even the door didn't have a password but a key. It was an outdated building. You turned the key in the keyhole and the door opened.
You knew that if Soo Hyuk found out about this, the fact that you went out to your studio, he would snap your bones into two, and yet you came back to your sacred place.
You squealed, when you unlocked the door and rushed inside to your apartment. You jumped on your soft couch and laid down. You stared up at the white ceiling. Even the ceiling needed to be painted.
