Life Can Be Cruel Part 1

It's been about 2 days since everyone left. Your starving. You decided that you weren't going to wait any longer. So you took 2 books up the stairs one by one and opened the door. You started to walk up the stairs and walk over to the bar no one was in sight. You started to look for something to eat and found some crackers by some glass bottles. You ate some of the crackers and then heard a ding. 2 men showed up. You walked out of bar. Looking at them. They smiled creepily.

"A kid here? What luck! How much do think she'll sell for?"

"Don't know hopefully a pretty penny."

"Hey kid how about you come to me?"

You had a feeling in your chest that told you to run away. So you did. Not without throwing a wrapper in his face.

"Damn that brat."

You start to run out through the back door.

"Get her!!"

This was you first time defending yourself. Since you always had someone to protect you. You felt fear for the first time and you hated it. You ran no bolted trying to get away from who ever these people where. You had to think fast. Asking yourself as you ran what would Vi or Powder do?

Then you see a ladder. Remembering the chase scene the other day you climbed up the ladder. Then when you got up. You ran into the building and looked for a place to hide. 'A trap door perfect.' You thought. Then you help your breath as the men walked in the building.

"Where did she go?"

"Check everywhere." After a couple of mins they left giving up their search for you.

You peek out of the trap door slowly climbing out. You catch your breath and start walking out of the building. Now where would you go? Your hand grips on the pendant.

--Couple of Hours Later--

A couple of hours ago you started to look for the arcade you went to last time. Back tracking and memorizing every step you take. You finally reached the arcade taking it all in. Glass was everywhere, the machines were all down. 'Their not here?' You thought. 'Where could they be?' You start to tear up clutching your pendant. You pick yourself off the ground. You now were determined. You promise yourself that one day you will be reunited with your sisters but for now you had to find somewhere safe for you to live. You were only 5 and you definitely did not know how to fight. You'll get eaten alive if you stay here or the last drop.

After hours of searching for a place to stay. You finally found a completely abandoned place. It was huge.

[The room is just like the picture except there's no windows. There are also 5 big entryways. 2 on each side and one in the middle. You happened to be coming from the middle.]

You decided to first check each entryway. Each entryway had a giant door to go out of. The place was very clean for something that has been abandoned. You opened your arms wide this THIS was your new home.
