It was Sunday morning. The smell of sautéd onion and garlic lingers around the kitchen as I cook some Adobo for dinner.
They are always like that ever since she came into our life.
He wrapped his arms around my waist as he plant small kisses on my neck.
"Why?"
"Nothing. I love you," he said, whispering. Vito never changed. Napaka-sweet pa rin at caring.
I turned off the stove and turn around. I clung both of my hands on his neck as I stare directly into his beautiful eyes.
"I love you more," I replied and tiptoed to kiss the tip of his nose.
Yes, it's the Carol from Matalinhug.
We decided to adopt her. Luckily, everyone in the community agreed for the adoption.
They were doing fine. Balita ko ay nakakapasok na sa paaralan ang iba sa kanila and that's because of my Vito here.
Ah. 'Yong sa wedding. I almost forgot.
Nasa out of town sina Mom.
They want an apo. A baby. They love Carol naman but Mom wants to feel the warmth of a baby on her arms.
Pero hindi pa kami kasal.
We have both agreed that baby must come after the wedding for atleast I look pretty and slim on my wedding gown. Pero siyempre hindi lang 'yon ang dahilan. I don't care about my appearance as long as it's Vito I will be marrying.
I just wore a plain white shirt and high-waisted pants. I caressed the gummy bear necklace in my neck. It always give this feeling of calmness whenever I have this with me.
On the other hand, my future hubby just wore a simple collared blue shirt and denim pants. He brushed his hair backwards exposing his forehead with some strands left, waiting to be notice.
"Is she asleep?" I nods. I then gave him a tight hug and there I sniff his perfume, probably new but way more better than his last.
We traveled almost half an hour before we arrived at the botique shop. Susukatan na kami ng gown and suit for the wedding.
"Good evening. Probably on her 40s already yet she's still beautiful.
I looked at them and scanned every details of it. The embroided designs, the pearls that were placed perfectly and delicately on every part, the pretty see-through veil that overflows through the wedding floor when worn.
