"I can't believe how big you are" Lacey cooed to Leo as she watched him walk confidently over to her, just a little over one years old, but seemingly a toddler. "Haha, his deffo his dads double" Dani smiled, as she gave him a fruit bag, and he happily sat watching some show on the tv. "So, as much as i love you being here, what's brought you around?" Dani questioned, with a smirk. It was never like Lacey to show up out of the blue at her best friend's, it was more like Dani to show up at Lacey's if anything. "There's no reason" Lacey mumbled, as she nursed her cup of tea, as Dani rolled her eyes. "Let me guess, a brown eyed brunette, around five eleven" Dani smiled, as Lacey rolled her eyes. "You guys are supposed to be together, that's pretty clear that neither of you have been involved with anyone else since you both called it quits for the second time, doesn't have to be that way Lace, you like him, and i assume he still likes you" Dani stated, as she took a sip from her own hot cup of coffee, Lacey rolling her eyes at her best friend again, but she was telling the truth with everything she said. "That's the thing, it's always assume, and then when things are going good, something else always comes along" Lacey mumbled. "That's what you get for being famous" Dani mumbled, but sent her friend a sympathetic smile. "Anyway, i need to get going, but thanks for the tea" Lacey smiled, before she ruffled the hair on Leo's head, placing a soft kiss to the top of his head, leaving Dani's and heading down the busying high-streets, the hood of her coat pulled up over her head, holding the collar up across her mouth. As much as she loved her fans, and wanted to spend as long as she could with them, doing simple day tasks was now becoming a problem, especially now she was back in London.

Lacey would forever be thankful for everything she had achieved and would continue to achieve, but she also missed having a normal life, and was slowly beginning to understand how Sasha and the boys had felt when everything got too much for them all. Having no privacy was something she hated, but she knew it was the price to pay, she just wished things had panned out a little different, or someone had of given her the warning before she dived head first into it all.

---

here's the one thing i want you to know, you've got some place to go, life's a test yes, but you come to toe to toe, you don't give up no, you grow, and you use your pain, cause it makes you, i wish i could hold you through it, i know its not the same, you've got living to do, and i just want you to do it

Lacey sang to her hearts content, her fingers dancing across the keys of the piano, her phone on the corner of it as she lived streamed on Instagram, something she had done a lot recently, even if she just sat there and sang, it was almost like it cleared her mind and nothing else mattered, just like writing her lyrics or feelings down on a piece of paper, but the truth was she felt as if there was nothing left in her to write anymore, one of the reasons she had come back to London a little earlier than expected, needing to reconnect with her roots, find a purpose, find something to live for.

Better wake those demons, just look them in the eye, no reason not to try, life can be a mess, wont let it cloud my mind and i let my fingers fly, and i use the pain because its part of me and im ready to power through it, gotta find the strength, find the melody, because you showed me how to do it.

Lacey looked up briefly, her eyes scanning the comments, looking at how many people were watching her sing, and she couldn't help but notice Mason's name commenting, she smiled at the camera, before finishing the song where it was, not finding the will to carry on singing, she would rather read some of the comments, engage with some of the audience, well that's what she told herself, when in reality she just wanted to see what Mason was commenting.
"Haha oh god, I don't think I'd ever sing Taste Of You after that last show" Lacey laughed, thinking back to when she had sang it and someone in the crowd had tried to strip. Lacey smiled as she scanned through some more comments. "Yes! I've seen Leo and his still as adorable as ever" Lacey smiled. "Does it feels weird to be home?" Lacey questioned as she read the comment, she nodded her head but smiled. "It does, but it's good at the same time, I'm hoping to get some writing done and spend time with everyone I love" Lacey smiled, as her eyes scanned Masons comment.
You taking requests? I demand you sing a Chelsea song 😎
"It's all about the hammers now Mase" Lacey smiled, as the comments went wild seeing Masons comment. "Have I got anything planned whilst I'm here? Erm, not really just some events and my friends wedding" Lacey smiled. "I definitely do not have a boyfriend right now" Lacey smiled. "It's good to be independent once in a while" Lacey continued, as the comments flooded in about her and Mason, which she tried to ignore. "Anyway guys, it's been a pleasure, but I also need a shower" Lacey smiled, throwing a peace sign up before ending the live.

Lacey smiled to herself, before she lay on her bed, thinking about everything.
She couldn't wait to see how her life panned out now she was home.
But her main question was if she would find the meaning of home in London again.
