"Right I really need to go to the bathroom, will you please tell Lauren I'll be five minutes" Lacey whispered, as Ellie nodded her head. "Yeah, of course" Ellie smiled. Lacey smiled to herself, saying hello to people she hadn't even met formally, wishing everyone a good night, she was just too caught up in the bliss of her friends getting married to process the actual day itself, which is why she was thankful so many videos and photos had been taken to look back on when Dec and Lauren come back from their short honeymoon.

Lacey stared at herself in the mirror of the bathroom, sighing as she pulled her slightly curly hair over one shoulder, reapplying some lipgloss, not really wanting to bother with the lipstick anymore, as her eyes met some brown ones in the mirror. "You're Lacey right?" The voice whispered, but Lacey was more aware of who she was, remembering her kissing Mason at the Euros dinner. "Yeah, you're Chloe, right?" Lacey smiled, but matching her tone of voice, but Lacey just wanted to get out of the toilet now, forgetting she needed to actually urinate, she didn't want them to meet like this. "I don't really know what he sees in you" Chloe whispered, as she stood next to Lacey, washing her hands, but keeping their eye connection through the mirror. "I mean, it's obvious it's more for the fame, then you thought you could make it without him, couldn't do that, you're career died and you're shockingly back with one of the biggest footballing names" Chloe whispered, but Lacey felt every kick of her tone, every word hitting her like a train. "What did I actually do to you?" Lacey whispered, as she pulled her eyes away from the mirror and turned to face the girl. "We was getting back together until he met you, why else would I have been the one sat with his family that day" Chloe mumbled, as she too turned to face Lacey. "But then I guess, fake blonde hair, bright sparkling eyes are just up his street" Chloe whispered, her eyes looking Lacey up and down. "You're not even his type, you're the type he chooses when he wants a plaything, and believe me he will try his hardest to make it work, diving straight in with the love yous, but it never lasts, I've been around enough times to be at the end of the phone when he calls wanting something else" Chloe smiled, rubbing her tongue across her lips, smirking slightly.
"You know he called me the night he found out that he wasn't going to be a daddy anymore, he was relieved to some extent that he wasn't going to be a dad with you" Chloe whispered. "He begged and begged, but I told him that he needed to call it off with you first" Chloe stated, her voice sounding proud like she was finally hitting a nerve with Lacey, which she was, Lacey could shy away from most confrontation, but when you mess with something that Lacey was truly devastated about it was a different story completely. "Mason may have told you about Alexa, but he didn't tell you about me." Chloe smiled. "I should be wearing that bridesmaid dress, I should be the one who's going to Dubai with him during end of season cool downs, I should be sat next to him at our best friends wedding" Chloe spat, as her hand slammed down on the sink, the clink of her rings hitting the ceramic sounding out. "So whilst you worm your way in, and try and hide the fact you look, and probably are pregnant, standing there singing whilst Lauren and Declan dance for their first dance, believe me that I will be watching, I'm not going away Lacey, Mason is mine" Chloe muttered, as she pushed past her, walking out of the door, as Lacey turned to face herself in the mirror, taking in her appearance now, her pale skin, the mascara that was running slightly from blinking away tears that she didn't know she had lining her eyes.
"Deep breaths" Lacey muttered, as she ran a hand over her face, before walking out of the toilets.
"Yo Lace, you look like you've just saw a ghost" Ben chuckled, as he offered her a glass of champagne which she declined. "It's just really hot in here, just give me a minute" she smiled, as she quick stepped out onto the patio, the cold air rushing around her as she took deep breaths, removing her phone from her bra, scanning her eyes over the period tracking app she had been following closely.
One week late
Lacey sighed to herself, running a hand through her hair, shaking her feet, trying to get rid of all the anxieties that were now eating up inside her. "Yo, Lace" Jack mumbled, as he wrapped an arm around her shoulders, bringing her into him, the smell of his aftershave making her want to throw up. "You really don't look good, so you send a drink?" Jack questioned, as his eyes scanned over her face. "I don't think I can drink" Lacey whispered, as she looked down at her stomach, Jack smiling down at her. "No, no" Jack mumbled, but the smile remained on his face. "Have you took a test? Do you need a test? I can get one" Jack smiled, as Lacey shook her head. "We will get through the rest of the night, then we deal with it, no words to Mason" Lacey scolded him, as he held his hands up in a defensive manor. "Secrets safe with me" he smiled, as the turned around to head Lacey's name being called from the doorway, Lauren's Mum smiling over at her. "Cmon, it's the first dance!" She shouted, as Lacey nodded her head. "You sure you're gonna be okay?" Jack whispered, as Lacey nodded her head. "I've got to be" she smiled.
