"I can't believe it's been so long since we've been here" Lauren whispered, as she looked around at the crowd that was growing. "Is it weird that Lacey isn't here yet?" Sasha mumbled, as she pulled her phone out expecting to see a text that she was running late. "She might not bother coming, if Ben cheated on my I wouldn't come to watch his match" Ellie mumbled, as the three girls looked between themselves.
The truth of the matter was Lacey was there watching the match, just in a different spot, her friends Mia and Amber being with her, as well as Dani and Callum. "How you feeling?" Amber whispered, as Lacey nodded her head. Lacey hadn't told Callum or Dani about the whole situation with Mason, she felt that it was something that didn't need to be shouted around their friends and family, but Mason had told Declan, who had told Lauren, who had told the girls, Ben and Jack completely oblivious to their cheating team mate, but that's how Lacey wanted it, she didn't want it slandered across the news, and she coped with it in a way that only she knew how, writing to her hearts content.
"I'm okay" Lacey smiled. Mia and Amber had agreed to stay a couple of days longer, but Lacey spoke about them moving down closer to London, but she knew they had other commitments back in her hometown. "Are you hoping his playing?" Mia whispered, as Lacey shrugged her shoulders. "Oh Mums invited us all around for dinner, for the boyfriends birthday, you'll have to let Mase now, she's picked a day so his not got a match the following day, swear she checks the fixtures more than me" Callum chuckled, as Lacey felt her stomach turn. She knew deep down that her and Mason would be fine, and maybe she was playing a little more on it than she needed to, or maybe she was just being taken for a mug, either way, she knew her heart belonged to Mason, and she was sure she would take a million heartbreaks with him if it meant she got the feeling that he gave her for five minutes longer, she's take the heartbreak for the highs of their relationship.
"Yeah, I'll let him know later" Lacey smiled, trying to contain her feelings as she saw the team come out of the tunnel, Mason walking next to Declan, who looked as if he could kill his best friend, she couldn't say she had seen that look on his face before, even when Mason had scored against him during the Chelsea and West Ham game.

"I can feel the tension from here, I think we should be thankful that they're playing with each other and not against each other" Amber mumbled, as Lacey looked at her quickly, before turning her head back to the pitch, watching the boys take the knee before they kicked off, and it become clear quiet quickly that Declan wasn't passing to Mason on purpose, Jack and Phil becoming agitated quickly from the choice he was making. "This isn't fair on him" Lacey mumbled, as she shook her head. "Where are you going?" Mia questioned, as Lacey held her hand up, signalling one moment before she walked to her other friends, her arms wrapped around her stomach trying to protect herself from the fans that were pushing and overcrowding.
"You came?" Sasha smiled, as Lacey nodded her head. "Yeah, I've been sat with the guys, I'm sorry I've been a little distant" Lacey mumbled, as Lauren pulled her in for a hug. "I'm really sorry" Lauren mumbled. "Look, this isn't fair on him" Lacey mumbled, as she featured her hand to the pitch, Ellie, Lauren and Sasha looking at what she meant, but knew full well what she meant. "This isn't fair on either of us, and we're grown adults we can talk it out, but he needs his friends and you were his friends first" Lacey mumbled, as Ellie shook her head. "You don't get to decide what payback he gets, whatever happens between him and Dec stays on this pitch today, I don't want to have him lose people his known forever because of a stupid mistake he made" Lacey mumbled, as the girls nodded their heads agreeing with her, before she said her goodbyes, and headed back to the tunnel, waiting patiently for the match to go to half time.

Lacey was kind of thankful that some people knew about her pregnancy because it gave her a luxury of being able to be on the underground at Wembley, something that Southgate frowned upon, but upon hearing Lacey and Masons news of the pregnancy he was more than happy for her to be around, as long as she wasn't distracting towards him.

"Lacey, whatcha doing?" Jack smiled, as he ran down the tunnel, after hearing the whistleblow, engulfing her in a hug. "Ew, you're sweaty" Lacey laughed. "Woah, Lace you okay?" Declan stated, as he jogged over, looking at her. "Go easy on him, please" Lacey whispered, as Declan rolled his eyes. "If Jack knew" Declan mumbled, as Lacey shook her head. "It doesn't matter" Lacey mumbled, as she looked up the tunnel and saw her very sad eyed boyfriend stumbling down, dragging his feet slightly, as he looked up and the confusion swept across his face. "Lacey, is everything okay? Do you need me to come?" Mason questioned, as he looked around, messing with his top, trying to find someone to tell that he was needed elsewhere. "No, everything's fine" Lacey smiled, as she pulled him into her, holding his waist with one hand as she brought his face down to hers with her other hand, placing a kiss to his lips.

"I miss you" Lacey mumbled, as Mason smiled at her, placing his forehead against hers. "I'll never be stupid again" Mason whispered. "I love you" he continued. "I love all of you, everything about you" Mason whispered, as Lacey smiled up at him, placing her lips to his again, and then running away, just before Southgate caught her lip locking with Mason.
