"Cmon" Mason whispered, as he took Lacey's hands and walked them into the garden, sitting down on the furniture Lacey had spent so long trying to find and buy, something she had took pride in when sorting out the garden, it was spacious which still allowed for Masons goal net and basketball hoop, but it allowed a nicer quieter area of the garden surrounded by plants and fairy lights. "What's going on in that pretty little head of yours?" Mason whispered as he sat down on the rattan sofa, pulling Lacey down with him into the cushions, she was thankful that it was still a little warm out here else she would freeze to death, she already felt that she was a walking ice cube, she didn't need to look like one as well.
"I just don't feel great lately" Lacey whispered, as she pulled her arms around her waist, almost as if she was hugging herself, as Mason nodded his head, pulling his jacket off his body and wrapping around her, before pulling her into his chest, sitting sideways on the bench and pulling Lacey in between his legs. "What do you mean don't feel great?" Mason whispered, as he rested his head on her shoulder, and he could hear her breathing, her soft breathing of in and out.
"Everyone hates me" Lacey whispered, and she thought her voice would crack, but she was calm and collected, almost like she had said it a thousand times before, when in reality she had just thought it a thousand times before. "They don't Lace" Mason whispered. "You wasn't there Mase, I literally walked through a shopping centre and I was called a 'baby trapper' they basically hurled abuse at me for getting pregnant, stating that I had trapped you into toxic relationship" Lacey whispered. "I'll deal with being called every name under the sun, but I never ever want you to feel like you're trapped with me because I'm pregnant" Lacey whispered. "I might be a hormonal bitch, but one thing I'm not is a home wrecker or someone who would make you stay with me because I'm pregnant" Lacey whispered, as she felt the tears prick at her eyes, but she refused to let them fall, she refused to cry over this, not right now.
"Lacey I love you, I don't know how many times I'm going to have to say it, and I don't really care how many times I have to say it because I love you with every bone and muscle in my body, nothing is ever going to change that" Mason whispered, as he placed a kiss to her shoulder blade, holding her a little closer than he did before. "I have really bad dreams" Lacey whispered with a deep breath, playing with her fingers on her knees that she had pulled up to her chest, as Masons legs laid wrapped around her, again, holding her closer to him, which she was thankful for because he was like a human radiator to her right now. "What kind of dreams?" Mason whispered, but he hadn't forgot about what she had said previously, he just knew she wanted to talk to him, and he was more than willing to listen to her. "You leave me, every time you leave me" Lacey whispered, her voice cracking slightly, but again, she refused to let the emotion show through. "They call them pregnancy terrors but after the day id had and the dreams, I just feel like I'm drowning in my own thoughts" Lacey whispered, as she let out another sigh, Mason rubbing his hand up and down her leg in a comforting way. "I know you haven't really been sleeping, if it wasn't for the cleanliness of the house and how tired you look in a morning I wouldn't of worked it out" Mason whispered with a smile, again kissing her shoulder blade, letting her know that he was here, he was listening and he cared.  "Lace I know this is really hard on you, but I promise I'm not going anywhere, not now, not ever" Mason whispered, as Lacey nodded her head, leaning back into him. "I know, I just think my baby brain is getting the better of me" Lacey whispered, as Mason smiled down at her, his head resting on top of hers.
"Well let's think about something different" Mason whispered, as his hand found Lacey's and he began to play with her finger with his own.
"How many stars do you see?" Mason whispered, as Lacey looked up, the night sky being clear, the stars shining down on them. "Thousands, millions" Lacey whispered, as she giggled to herself, knowing that there was way more up there. "When you finish counting them all, that's when I'll stop loving you" Mason whispered, as he continued to play with Lacey's hand. "You know that's impossible right?" Lacey whispered. "Then it's impossible for me to stop loving you" Mason whispered, as he placed a kiss on her cheek.
"For whatever reason we were brought together, and I believe that fate drew that to us" Mason whispered.
Lacey had never been one for fate, but she did believe along the lines that everything happened for some strange reason, and maybe, just maybe, that day she met Mason and everyone else was supposed to happen.
"You know I love you don't you?" Lacey whispered as she looked up at her boyfriend, who's eyes were placed on the stars above them, the lights that danced around them just hitting his face right in the light, almost making him look like he really was an angel.
"I know, and I love you too" Mason whispered, as he kissed the top of her head and the continued to watch the stars above them.
