Lacey, Lauren, Mason, Declan, Ben and Ellie all sat in the lounge of Lacey and Masons house, smiling and laughing between themselves.
"Okay, okay, this one is funny" Lacey smiled, as she took a deep breath trying to compose herself, or trying her hardest not to laugh. "West Ham Captain" Lacey smirked as Declan laughed at her. "That's a Tammy line" Ben laughed, as Lacey nodded her head. "You're go then" Lacey smiled at Ben as he nodded his head, picking a name from the bowl on the table. "Oh this is a hard one" Ben laughed. "Oh go on" Lauren laughed, as Ben laughed nodding his head. "Okay, he was mad but now we've made up" Ben laughed, as Mason shook his head, but still smiled. "That was Dec" Lauren laughed. "I remember watching that video" Lauren laughed, as Declan nodded his head. "Loz, your go" Ben smiled, as Lauren picked a name, and stated her quote. "What a goal" Lauren laughed, as Lacey laughed at her. "That was Harry Kane" Lacey smiled, as she picked another name from the hat. "Can I re-pick?" Lacey whispered, as Mason peered over her shoulder, looking at Jacks name wrote on the paper.
"Have you tried to talk to him?" Mason whispered, as Lacey shook her head, leaning back into her boyfriend. "Lace, it's silly to fall out over us" Mason whispered, as he traced shapes up and down her exposed arm, as he felt her relax underneath him. "I know" Lacey mumbled, as she sighed to herself, standing up from Masons arms and walked into the kitchen, her phone in her hand.

Lacey and Jack sat in Jacks car in a comfortable silence, as he finally turned the ignition off and both of them exited the car. "Remember when we used to come here all the time?" Jack smiled, as Lacey nodded her head, watching as Jack pulled out a football from his boot, it wasn't the first time she had seen him do this and it wouldn't be the last. "Not sure you can tackle me in your condition though" Jack laughed, as he passed her the football, watching as Lacey flicked it up and kept it up a couple of times before she kicked it, watching it hit the top left bins, Jack smiling at her. "Still got it then" Jack laughed, as Lacey nodded her head. "We're gonna be okay ain't we?" Lacey whispered, as Jack nodded his head. "I said somethings in the heat of the moment and you're right, I don't get a say, and it was harsh of me to put you in that position, I just love ya Lace" Jack mumbled, as Lacey nodded her head, watching as he kicked the ball in the air and then volleyed it back into the net, straight into the middle as he laughed. "Sometimes you just need some time and space to yourself, ya get me?" Jack mumbled, as Lacey nodded her head. "It's hard with Sash being away isn't it?" Lacey whispered, as Jack sighed nodding his head. "Like I just miss her, Skye misses her too and like the house just ain't the same" Jack mumbled, as he slid on the grass and sat down, Lacey just sitting down next to him. "Like do you ever wonder where you'll be in a couple of years?" Jack whispered, as Lacey nodded her head. "Most likely sleep deprived washing Masons dirty socks" Lacey laughed, as Jack smiled, but shook his head. "Nah, I mean do you reckon you'll be happy? Like finally feeling like you've done it, you've lived" Jack whispered, as Lacey turned to look at him. "Like I'm not saying I ain't happy, like how can I not be happy, but I miss the little things" Jack whispered. "And I feel like you get it cause you're new to all of this" Jack whispered. "I think, if I can get to the end of the year and be as happy as I am right now, I'll feel like I've made it, if I'm still as happy as I am now, in five years time, I'll die happy" Lacey whispered, as Jack nodded his head. "I just want my child to grow up the same way I did, that nothing was ever handed to you on a plate, you work hard, you work smart" Jack whispered, as Lacey nodded her head, listening to what he was saying, not wanting to interrupt him. "I just think that maybe there's more to life than how many goals I put in the back of the net" Jack whispered. "Maybe life's about the nights that me and Sash order a Nando's, sat with Skye on the sofa, watching a show that we've watched a hundred times over but I love the way she smiles at that part I don't find funny, but to her it's got her belly laughing" Jack smiled, thinking about the memories he had made, and would continue to make with her. "Maybe it's what you and Mase have, and maybe I was scared of the commitment, maybe I was jealous that you guys are perfect and me and Sash have our bad days" Jack mumbled, as Lacey shook her head. "Everyone has their bad days" Lacey whispered. "You get through it" Lacey whispered, as she placed her hand on Jacks knee, smiling up at him. "This is why your my day one Lace" Jack chuckled, as Lacey nodded her head. "And this is why you'll be uncle Jacky" Lacey smiled, as the two of them sat there in a comfortable silence, just taking in the memories that they remembered, dreaming about the ones they were yet to make.
