"When do you think he will release them?" Lauren chimed, as they sat in the cafe, smiling from ear to ear despite the hangover, the crowds in the streets still at an all time buzz over the news of the World Cup winning. "I messaged them about tonight, but I think that he will probably keep them for like the warm down days and stuff, like rest and recuperation" Ellie smiled, but she tried to be heartfelt about the fact Lacey's show would be missed by the people she wanted there. "It'll be a good night though, we're here for you" Sasha smiled, as Lacey nodded her head, finishing the cup of coffee she needed this morning. "Well, I'll meet you all there later, I should probably head to sound check" she smiled, but in reality, she didn't even want to go, and that wasn't because the boys wouldn't be there, it was because she didn't want to leave her friends, in the short space of time she had been back from LA she had learned that she didn't ever want to leave them again, that she wanted to relish in this moment forever, knowing that although her and Mason were back together; to some extent, neither had actually asked the other, they just agreed that things would be different this time around, and to keep it on the low, which to Lacey was enough to say they were in some kind of relationship, but the truth was, she was only ever going to be here temporarily for Lauren and Declan's wedding, having no other commitment to be here, yet here she was, replacing her roots.

"I guess, I'm a bit out of my depth tonight" Lacey chuckled into the microphone, the crowd clapping around her. "I'm still on an all time buzz about the final last night, it finally came home" Lacey smiled, as the crowd continued to boom. "But I have some pretty gutting news" Lacey mumbled, but the microphone caught her words as loud and as clear as day. "I guess you can say I've been replaced, or dropped, which ever suits you when you hear it" Lacey mumbled, taking a breath. "I've actually been set aside at my record label, and I've taken the choice after some deciding to move on, I'm not saying I'm quitting music, because I love it too much, I love you guys too much" Lacey smiled, as the crowd clapped for her. "But let's call it a holiday, or a mini break, because, I'm coming back, bigger and better" Lacey smiled. "So, it seems fitting to sing one of my favourite musical numbers, because by the end of the night, I'll probably be a dead girl walking" Lacey chuckled, as the music began to play around her.

They'll haunt me down in study hall, stuff and mount me on the wall, thirty hours to live, how shall I spend it

Lacey smiled to herself as the crowd went ecstatic to her singing this song. Ironically the musical was a lot more in depth about suicide, and needing to move away and make a new name, but Lacey found it fitting knowing that after singing this, to Tallia and Alex, and whoever else was here from the record label, that she really would be a dead girl walking.

You say your numb inside, but I can't agree, so the worlds unfair, keep it locked out there, in here it's beautiful, let's make this beautiful

Lacey smiled, as Tallia joined her on stage, dancing around a little on the sideline of the stage. Lacey had kept in some form of contact with Tallia whilst being in America, learning that she wasn't this cold heart bitch she came across to be, and Lacey hoped for nothing but the best for her.

"Aha, thank you guys, now, for a serious song, probably my last for a while. It took some debating, and I realised that I didn't want to be cheesy and sing one of me own" Lacey smiled, as the crowd booed a little, but it was all fun and games, nothing to dishearten her. "So, this is an absolute tune, and it's brutal" Lacey smiled, as the crowd cheered around her as the base and drums began playing.

But as Lacey danced around the stage, signing her heart out and engaging with the crowd, she looked up to where her friends were standing, her eyes lighting up when she saw the four boys in their England tracksuits, wanting nothing more than to go over to them and sing with them.

All I did was try my best, this the kind of thanks I get, unrelentlessly upset, they say these are the golden years, but I wish I could disappear, ego crush is so serve.
God, it's brutal out here

Lacey finished the song, the crowd still going wild, wanting to hear her more and more, as she clapped the crowd, taking a final bow, before hugging Tallia on the sideline and walking out into the stage wings, handing the microphone over to the sound techs, before she ran up the stairs, wanting nothing more than a hug from her friends.

"What do you mean they fucking dropped you!" Jack muttered, as he pulled her in for a hug, holding her tighter and tighter. "Enough about me, congratulations!" She shrieked, as Jack shook his head. "Stop it, his ego will grow" Ben laughed, as he pulled Lacey in for a hug, her also congratulating him on the win, teasing him about now being a famous England footballer, as she engulfed Declan in a hug. "You're still a loser though Deccers" Lacey teased, as he laughed nodding his head. "We can both be losers" Declan smirked, as Lacey rolled her eyes, before they landed on Mason, who was smiling softly at her. "Are we gonna break my bed?" He whispered, as Lacey shivered at the sensation of him whispering down her ear. "Because I'm sure I can find some tighty whiteys" he smirked, as Lacey rolled her eyes hitting his chest playfully.
