"Are you sure you're going to be okay for the wedding?" Lauren whispered, as she watched as Lacey still struggled to walk properly around her living room, making the favour boxes and table decorations for the wedding. "I'll be fine the for the wedding, it just feels a little uncomfortable at the moment" Lacey smiled, as she sat down on Lauren's sofa holding the boxes of gifts. "I can't believe it's come round so quickly" Lauren whispered, as her fingers played with the string. "It was always going to happen, and you've had enough time to back out" Lacey teased, smiling and laughing, but she soon stopped when she saw Lauren's face. "You're not having second thoughts are you?" Lacey whispered, as Lauren shook her head. "No, no, it's just it's a big step isn't it" Lauren smiled, as Lacey nodded her head, but remained quiet, allowing the time for her friend to speak. "I mean, we've been together so long, but what happens if we get married and everything changes? I mean you hear about it all the time" Lauren mumbled, as she ran a hand through her hair. "Unless you mean Dec is finally going to put the toilet seat down after he uses it, or actually aim his dirty socks in the laundry basket, I don't think you have got anything to worry about, he adores you" Lacey smiled, placing a hand on her thigh in a comforting way. "I know, it's just the wedding jitters isn't it" Lauren smiled. "Right cmon, we have an hour before the girls will be here, then it's down to the home of the hammers" Lauren whispered. "I really don't want to see how they play each other on the pitch" Lacey mumbled. "I can't imagine them not being friends for ninety minutes" Lacey continued. "Oh it is funny though" Lauren smiled.
"They're ritual is they'll speak on a game on the Xbox or PS5 the night before, they'll text each other the morning of the game, as usual, they'll then arrive at the stadium, they'll speak if they have time, but as soon as they have their kits on, it's life or death on that pitch" Lauren chuckled, as Lacey nodded her head, wondering how she hadn't watched them play each other before. "And if one of them breaks the others leg?" Lacey whispered. "They'll still hug it out at the end" Lauren smiled, as Lacey nodded her head.

"I can't believe how busy is it" Lacey whispered, as Lauren smiled at her, holding her close. "Who you rooting for then" Lauren asked Sasha as she rolled her eyes playfully. "I'm staying in the middle, I'm not going home with either of them" Sasha laughed, as Jack nodded his head. "I think the hammers are gonna pull this one out the bag, Deccers is playing really well" Jack stated, as Lacey rolled her eyes playfully. "Obviously I'm loyal to Mase" Lacey smiled, looking down at herself seeing the overly baggy Chelsea top covering her body. "Well that's obvious" Ellie smiled, as she looked down at the pitch, seeing the bubbles dance around the pitch. "Remember when Jack tried to pop the bubbles?" Lacey chuckled, as Jack rolled his eyes. "Bubbles are fun" Jack mumbled, as the crowd started booming, and the Chelsea team walked out, closely followed by the West Ham team, Lacey looking over her boyfriend and his best friend, wondering how the match would play out.

"Has anyone noticed how Mase isn't tackling Dec" Lacey huffed. "Where's the heat, where's the sizzle?" Lacey continued, as Jack laughed at her. "See, you took his legs out last time you played him" Lacey mumbled, looking at Jack who held his hands up in defence. "My heart was in the game what can I say" Jack chuckled.
"Oh my god" Lacey laughed, as she watched as Mason shot the ball, landing in the bottom corner, just slipping through the goalkeepers hands. "He is not going to live that down with Dec" Lauren laughed as they clapped for Chelsea, watching as Mason celebrated and Declan shook his head, the camera panning on him, doing him dirty and his face going across the big screen, followed by Mason celebrating. "Camera man knew the game" Ellie laughed, as Lacey nodded her head, the whistle blowing for half time, leaving the game at 2-1 to Chelsea for the first half.

"This match is going to get interesting now" Ellie smirked, as Lacey nodded her head. The teams walking back out onto the pitch.
"You still backing the hammers?" Lacey questioned to Jack as he nodded his head. "Yup, I think they'll take the lead" Jack stated, as Sasha shrugged her shoulders. "How you feeling?" She whispered to Lacey, holding an arm around her shoulders. "Tired, it's funny, I've been out of hospital a couple of days but I feel tired all the time" Lacey mumbled. "That'll be the painkillers leaving your body, not to mention how much morphine they had you on" Sasha whispered, as Lacey nodded her head. "I just wanna feel better" Lacey whispered, as Sasha nodded her head.

"Can we go home now?" Mason mumbled, as he pulled his beanie down lower over his head, holding Lacey from behind, as she talked with Lauren, Declan holding Lauren the same way Mason was doing to Lacey. "Have you two made up yet?" Lauren laughed, as Mason sunk his head deeper in Lacey's neck, mumbling words that the others couldn't hear. "When he says congratulations on smashing Chelsea we can talk" Declan mumbled playfully, as Lacey rolled her eyes at him.
"You'll both be on Xbox later anyway, why not get it out of the way" Lauren laughed, as Mason shook his head. "The wounds still sore" Mason mumbled, as Declan laughed nodding his head. "From top of the table to third, have fun enjoying that" Declan laughed, as Mason groaned, walking to the car, leaving his friends laughing at him.
