"That was dirty though" Declan mumbled, as Lacey nodded her head, holding a pillow in her lap and gripping it tighter as the reds ploughed into the blue team. "At least they got a free kick" Ellie mumbled, as she took a sip from her water, as Lacey nodded her head. "You're fairly quiet, you're usually a lot more vocal" Jack mumbled, as he rested his hands on Lacey's shoulders, as she shrugged. "It's not the same as watching it in the stands is it" Lacey smiled, as Jack nodded his head. "Well it's the last prem game before we head off again" Declan smiled, as he looked at the suitcase that was packed ready to head off to St George's for the next round of the semi finals of the World Cup. "Don't remind me that you get to disappear again" Lauren mumbled, as she placed herself next to Declan on the sofa, his arms automatically wrapping around her and holding her close. "But it makes it all the more worth it" Declan smiled, as he kissed the top of her head, Lauren smiling into his chest. "You two are sickly cute" Lacey whispered, as Ellie laughed agreeing with her, as Lacey watched Mason get taken down by Ronaldo, the referee blowing instantly, as Maguire and Shaw ran to the Blue who was lay down, Chilly and James running over to as Mason sat up on the grass, holding his left leg. "Dirty game" Jack mumbled, as all their eyes watched the scene play out on the tv. Watching as Masons refused to accept treatment, refusing to come off the pitch, but knowing he had to as the medical team rushed on, and it was a rule that they had to leave the pitch even if they were fine. "What's he playing at" Declan mumbled, as he watched Mason refuse any help from the medics, limping off the pitch, as Ben and James faces were zoomed into on the tv, both of them covering their mouths knowing the cameras could be on them as they spoke.
"Nah he can't go back on, if it gets worse he won't be at St. George's" Jack mumbled, as they all watched Mason run back on the pitch, the referee giving the all clear for him to return, much to the medics dismay, but it wasn't long till the substitute board was raised in the air with number nineteen in red, indicating Mason was now coming off.
Mason shook his head, his hand rubbing over his face as he clapped his hands, walking off the pitch, the fans around the stadium booming, but the look on his face said it all, he knew he was injured, but he just wanted to play.

"How's the leg?" Declan questioned, as Mason walked into the lounge, his chelsea tracksuit still covering his body, his face showing the tiredness of the day. "Okay, it just aches a little, medics said I was all good to go St George's" Mason smiled, as he threw himself on the sofa, Declan nodding his head at his best friend. "That's alright then" Declan smiled.
"Oh I've gotta tell you this" Declan smiled, as Mason nodded his head, sitting up a little on the sofa, the tv playing some tv series they had both been watching lately. "Lacey apparently got laid last night, she didn't give any details but Lauren said she definitely had that glow on her face" Declan smiled, but then stopped realising what he had said to his best friend, who not so long back had been caught up on the girl in question. "Good for her I guess" Mason smiled, but the smile was because he knew who she had been with in the hotel room. "You not bothered?" Declan questioned, as Mason shook his head. "Nah, I mean, I'm happy for her" Mason smiled, the truth in his words, but like he had thought about before, he knew it was him and there was no need to worry about it. "So, you two then?" Declan questioned and Mason shrugged his shoulders. "I still care about her a lot, don't get me wrong, but I'm sure she will be back on a plane to LA not long after your big day" Mason stated, as Declan nodded his head, knowing that the likely hood of that happening was true. "Do you think you will ever get back together?" Declan whispered, not wanting to push the boat too far in the boundaries of the questions he was asking, as Mason shrugged his shoulders. "I think It'll always be her, but maybe she will just be that one person you'll always want but can never have" Mason whispered, as Declan nodded his head, not really understanding what Mason was saying, he couldn't ever imagine his life without Lauren, and he often thought that's how Jack felt about Sasha, but he understood that although Mason and Lacey had been off and on for a while, that maybe they had learned to live without each other in the process of it all.
"Don't forget we've got the tux fitting tomorrow before we head off to St George's on the weekend" Declan reminded Mason, as he nodded his head. "Yeah, I'll remember" Mason smiled, as his eyes scanned his Instagram page looking at Lacey's latest photo, smiling briefly at it remembering that's how she looked this morning, no make up, her hair slightly messy, and he was thankful he ever got to see that side of her, thankful that she eventually let her walls down for him to climb inside, he just wished he had never of been the reason that they were built up again.
"What you thinking about?" Declan questioned, as Mason shook his head. "Nothing much" Mason smiled, as Declan nodded his head slowly, not quite believing the words from his friend. "You totally still fancy her" Declan chuckled, but Mason didn't respond to his comment, just smiled.

Of course he was still head over heels for her.
