"So Lacey, it's good to have you back in the studio!" Dan, the radio presenter cheered into the microphone as Lacey chuckled to herself. "It feels good to be back in London" Lacey smiled, as Dan nodded his head. "So, I can officially tell you that your new song 'So Good' has placed in the top twenty, bur I have a feeling it's going to go higher over the next week" Dan smiled, as Lacey smiled at him. "Thank you, I honestly really enjoyed putting this one out there" Lacey smiled. "Can we confirm it's about a certain break up?" Dan questioned, as Lacey shrugged her shoulders. "I think people are open to thinking what they want" Lacey smiled, as Dan raised his eyebrows, but let her answer stand. "Well, it's been a pleasure as always, and of course we need to end with the ultimate fan question" Dan smirked, as Lacey nodded her head. "The first one; are you seeing anyone?" Dan questioned as Lacey laughed to herself. "I've always been honest with my fans, and I've told them multiple times that if anything changes, they will know" Lacey smiled, trying to hide her smile from the fact she was back with Mason, but still wanted it to be just between them for the time being. "And the last question from your fans; is there any chance of a UK tour on the horizons?" Dan smiled, as Lacey smiled. "I think I'm open to that option, I'd love to be able to stay in the UK for a little while longer" she smiled, as Dan nodded his head, holding his hand up to cut Lacey's microphone. "Well, guys, there you have it, you heard it here first, Lacey would love to do an UK tour in the future, but for now, here's her latest hit single, So Good" Dan smiled, as both microphones cut, and the music of Lacey's song played around the room.

I can't contain it, maybe it was the breakup, maybe I just woke up, on the right side of my empty bed, maybe it's nothing, increase the dopamine, that keeps on stoking me, I like what it's doing to my head

Lacey left the radio station, and headed down the busying streets to her meet up point with Sasha, Ellie and Lauren, a small cafe on the side of the sidewalk that they felt was just perfect for them, out of the way but in the open.
"Your song is deffo about a break up" Ellie chuckled, as Lacey rolled her eyes playfully. "That's the thing, it mentioned break up like once, it's about the aftermath of the feeling good after it all" lacey smiled. "and, it was something that I finished when I got back, like I didn't write all of it over in LA, I was fucking miserable in LA" Lacey mumbled, as the girls nodded their heads. "So, how are we spending the weekend out with the boys?" Sasha chimed, as Lacey shook her head, already feeling the weekend of drinking coming into play. "How about we do a spa weekend? Somewhere quiet, somewhere away from everyone" Lauren smiled, as Lacey nodded her head. "That's an idea I could get behind" Lacey smiled, as Sasha and Ellie nodded their heads. "Oh, I've gotta take this" Lacey smiled, as she looked down at her vibrating phone, seeing Masons name spread across it with a photo of him, lying sleepily in bed, smiling up at her with his hands throwing up a peace sign, a photo that was never out in the open, but a photo that made her heart feel warm, and her mind drift to the day it was taken, stolen moments from both of them that lead them to where they was today.

"Hey" Lacey smiled down the phone, as she heard Mason chuckle down the phone, rolling her eyes at him. "I've got five minutes so I thought I'd check in" Mason smiled, as Lacey nodded her head, twirling her hair with her fingertips. "Checking in on me? Or letting me know you've married your best friend?" Lacey teased down the phone, as she heard Mason laugh to someone on the other end of the phone. "Both, but it'll always be you" Mason whispered, as Lacey smiled to herself. "Maybe one day Mase, maybe one day" Lacey laughed, as she could hear the smile on his voice. "I'm going to miss you" Mason whispered, as Lacey nodded her head. "You'll be fine, think of it as a week away with the lads" Lacey smiled, trying to make the atmosphere better.
It was a strange one, because despite the fact they had broken up and got together time and time again, it always felt like they were still together, despite the distance, despite the bad times, and when you think about it long term, Mason and Lacey had been on and off for just over two years. "But I get cuddles when I get home right?" Mason smirked, as he began to tie his laces, getting ready for the training at ahead. "I'm sure you'll get more than a cuddle if you win" Lacey teased, as Mason groaned to himself. "The things you tease me with" Mason mumbled, as Lacey laughed to herself. "I need to go, the girls are looking at me like I have two heads, and I don't want to explain this one just yet" Lacey smiled. "Always the tease" Mason smirked, as Lacey shook her head, struggling to contain her laughter now. "You love it Mr Mount" Lacey smiled, as Mason nodded his head, agreeing with her. "I'll speak to you soon?" Mason whispered, as Lacey nodded her head. "We will speak soon" Lacey smiled, as the phone beeped, indicating that the phone call had ended, as Lacey held her phone to her chest, walking back into the cafe, and for once, she really believed that this time would be different.
