"So his just being overly clingy?" Sasha questioned as she had a sip of her iced latte, enjoying the fact that the girls were all together for once without the boyfriends tagging along. "Yeah, I mean it's nice, it's really nice to just feel wanted by him, but his constantly asking if I'm stressed and I get it, I really do, I mean I was so stressed last time and I've been worried about it constantly, but I feel like his treating me like I'm made of glass" Lacey mumbled, as she took a sip of her latte, smiling at Lauren as she rolled her eyes. "Males, who understands them aye?" Lauren laughs, as Ellie nodded her head. "It's when they bring flowers home that you have to worry" Ellie mumbled, as Lacey raised an eyebrow at her. "Oh the guilty flowers, I kinda miss them" Sasha laughed, as Lacey rolled her eyes. "I haven't had guilty flowers in a while" Lacey smiled, as Lauren shook her head laughing. "Oh just wait till your actually married, you'll have too many flowers" Lauren smiled. "That would be a dream" Ellie smiled as she finished her drink, and started picking at her cake. "El, what's up?" Lacey whispered, as Ellie shook her head, trying to smile, but struggling. "El, you can't fool me" Lacey stated, her voice calm, as Ellie nodded her head. "Me and Ben had a fight" Ellie mumbled, as Lacey nodded her head, hinting at the girl to continue what she was saying. "And he turned around and said that he kinda wished we wasn't together and that he didn't know if he was ready for that commitment" Ellie mumbled, as the tears lined her eyes. "I'm so worried that his going to just leave me" Ellie whispered, as Lacey shook her head, pulling to girl into a hug. "It'll work out, look at me and Mase, he adores you, everything will find its place" Lacey whispered, as Ellie nodded her head. "I'm sure you're right" Ellie whispered as she smiled at Lacey. "Anyway, I saw your comment about new music" Ellie smiled. "Yeah, I've got the studio booked later on, I can't wait to actually feel a little normal and be in there" Lacey smiled, as Lauren laughed nodding her head. "Before baby Mount takes over your life" Lauren giggled, as Sasha smiled at her. "I just can't believe how far we've all come" Sasha smiled. "Onwards and upwards girlies" Lauren smiled, as Lacey felt her phone buzz in the pocket. "I've gotta head out, but we're on for the friendly match this weekend yeah?" Lacey smiled, as the girls nodded their heads smiling. "We won't miss it" Lauren smiled, as they all gave Lacey a quick hug, before she left the coffee shop, picking her phone up and ringing the number that had text her.
"Hey Cal" Lacey smiled, as she heard him laugh. "That was quick, guess who I've just saw in town" Callum smiled, overly happier than usual. "Erm, I don't know" Lacey laughed. "Well I picked Mum up, but there two friends who have also taken the time to come and see you" Callum smiled, as Lacey's eyes widened. "Really?" Lacey smiled. "Yeah, do you want me to bring them all down later?" Callum questioned, as Lacey nodded her head, then realised that he couldn't see her. "Yeah, it'll be nice to see them all" Lacey smiled, as Lacey heard Dani in the background. "Tell Dan I said hey and I'll pop round soon" Lacey smiled, as Callum repeated what Lacey had said to Dani before they said goodbye and hung up the phone.
Lacey opened up Instagram as she walked to the studio, taking in the warm spring air, an earphone in her ear, as she listened to the hum of the rough tracks she had laid down, excited to be able to go into the studio and have fun making music, even though it was something she hadn't done in a while, it felt like it was normal for her to be up and about now, looking for the next single to release. But her eyes soon stopped when she saw photos of Mason on her Instagram, with his arm around various girls, dancing close to them, her name being tagged in the comments repeatedly. But she shrugged it off, just assuming they were old photos, from before she was back in the place she knew was home, before she was back in his life as his girlfriend.
But then she decided to click onto her Instagram DMs, a very rare occasion, she used to shy away from the messages, scared they'd be filled with hate and awful words, but what shocked her was seeing a message from Chloe, a name she didn't want to see right now.

Hey, I know I'm the last person you want to hear from, and I'm the last person you want to hear this from. I'm not saying he doesn't love you, he never looked that happy with me, but the night of the wedding something happened. It's best it comes from him, but if he isn't going to own up to his mistakes, I happily will. I'm meeting Lauren on Monday for dinner, if you want to tag along and see that I'm not the worst person in the world feel free, I don't want you to go through what did with him.
And as Lacey stopped walking, finally outside of the studio, she couldn't help but feel the anxiety take over her body, wanting nothing more than the ground to open up and eat her. Surely Chloe was lying and trying to scheme her way into things, Chloe wasn't the nicest in the toilets at the wedding, surely everything Lacey was imagining was all in her head. But then, her head aligned with her thoughts, she didn't have guilty flowers, he was just acting guilty and clinging onto her instead. "Ready to make music?" Tallia beamed, as Lacey looked at her like she had seen a ghost.
