When the curtains close, and all of the lights go down, safe to say I'll stay, I will always stick around, andI will fix your crown, and if you're knocked, Im your rock, I won't stop, you will never be in doubt

Lacey, Mason, Declan and Lauren all sat on one sofa in the garden, the fairy lights hanging around them as the soft hum of the music that had faded played in the background, as Jack, Sasha, Ben and Ellie were all on the sofa opposite, a glass of champagne in everyone's hands, as they all laughed and joked amongst each other.

Like damn, we got history, shared every misery, lived every victory, yeah we got synergy

"Nah, do you remember when Lacey threw up in that plant pot and Mase asked her to marry him" Jack laughed, everyone laughing with him. "I honestly thought you was going to kill me that night" Mason mumbled, as he took a sip from the champagne, smiling down at Lacey. "Still married her though bro, what you gonna do about it" Mason smirked, as Jack glared at him. "There's still time to kill ya" Jack muttered, as he took a sip of his drink. "No, I think the best memory is when we all pretended we didn't know that Chase was swinging the other way" Declan smirked, as Mason rolled his eyes at his best friend. "Is this take the piss night? Because I ain't down for it" Mason mumbled, as he sunk lower in his seat, Lacey placing a hand on his thigh. "But I only ever had eyes for you" Lacey whispered, as Mason leant down to kiss the top of her head, smiling at his wife.
"What about the time we all knew they were screwing each other but couldn't admit they actually liked each other" Ben smirked, as Ellie laughed. "I've heard this story so many times" Ellie laughed, as Lacey shook her head, placing her head in Masons chest as his hand wrapped around her, holding her close. "Yeah eventful time of back and forwards" Mason whispered. "Oh, Loz remember the time she bailed on us to go any get railed in a hotel room" Sasha smirked, as Lacey flushed a deep shade of red, burying herself deeper into Masons chest, making him chuckle. "Must of done something right to keep going back though" Mason smirked, as Lacey hit his chest playfully, pulling herself out of his embrace. "I don't have any embarrassing stories about any of you though" Lacey mumbled, as she began to think, but couldn't think of anything good.
"I mean, Dec crashed girls night a couple of times, loves a bit of Zac Efron" Lacey smirked, as Declan nodded his head. "That I do, but the lads know I love a good musical" Declan smirked, as Lacey huffed to herself. "See, I have no good details to give you all" Lacey mumbled. "No, but you do have a flawless singing voice so give us a song" Jack smiled, as the group began to clap their hands and chant Lacey's name.

If they hurt you, they're hurting me, that's just the way it be, we walked through the fire, and as the flames got higher, it made us survivors, it made us fighters

"Fine, fine" Lacey laughed, as she stood up, standing in the middle by the tables, as she pressed play on her phone, a song she had fell in love with playing around her, as Lauren held a hand to her mouth, not wanting to hear her sing it, but knew that it fit them all so well.

"Here's to us, I mean, you might all of retired from England, but you've still got your clubs to play for until you break your legs, or can't run for five seconds straight" Lacey chuckled.

So here's my vow, starting from here and now, nothing comes between us, nothing comes between us

As Lacey sang to her hearts content, her friends watched on from their seats, some filming her singing, some taking photos and videos, but all of them had a smile on their face.
They had watched Lacey grow as person, they had watched her change from a timid person, to falling in love and achieving her dreams and goals, wanting nothing more than the best for her, as their heads cast back to the days they had all met her, to the moment the knew they never wanted to let her leave their circle, knowing that although she was one person in many that they had met, that she was one person they wanted to keep close to them forever.

I swear that we won't lose this thing we found, because love will never leave us, nothing comes between us, between us

As Lacey finished the song, she couldn't help but let a few tears fall, as the girls of the group embraced her in a hug, followed by the males, forming a group hug in the middle of Lacey and Masons garden.
"You promise that even though we don't have Wembley to go to as our third home that we will always stay in contact?" Lacey whispered, as Lauren nodded her head, her hands still wrapped around the younger girl. "Through every sleepless night" Lauren smiled, as Lacey nodded her head. "I promise that every time me and Loz argue it'll be you I phone first to sleep on your sofa" Declan smirked, as Lauren hit him playfully. "I promise that when my kid breaks your kids heart that I'll still be there to hug you at the end of the curtain falling down" Ben whispered, as Lacey scoffed at the thought of Ivy breaking Teddy's heart in the years to come.

"This might be our football chapter ending, but our lives as friends, or even family is only just beginning and we will be in everyone's corners till the end, or as Ben said, the final curtain falls" Ellie whispered.

And that's how the group of eight people spent the rest of their night, cuddles together, taking photos and videos to last a life time, their England career over, the peak of their club careers coming to an end, but their family life was only just starting, only just beginning.

But as Lacey sat there, she was thankful to not only herself but her friends.
They let her think; If Only
They always promised to; Remember Me, just like that.
And Mason always let her; Waste her love on him.
