Lacey sat in the lounge at her Mums, Mason was working away and they had both agreed that Lacey was best to stay with her Mum for the weekend, not wanting to step on anyones shoes, or annoy anyone else, and Lacey had missed spending time with her Mum.

Lacey answered the FaceTime that was ringing and was instantly met with Jacks face under Masons name, worry instantly clouding her mind.
"Jack?" Lacey mumbled, as she sat up from the sofa, Jack laughing at her. "His fine, my phone died and I wanted to check in" Jack smiled, as Lacey nodded her head, taking a deep breath and smiling at him. "I'm good, I'm a little bored but I'm fine, how's training?" Lacey smiled, as she heard Dec and Mason in the background, shouting at the basketball that was bouncing on the floor. "It's interesting, loud" Jack mumbled, as he turned the camera around, showing Mason and Declan playing basketball. "Where's Chilly?" Lacey smiled, as Jack turned the camera back around to show him and Ben sat next to each other, laughing at the two best friends. "Hey Lace" Ben smiled, as she headed Mason shout in the background, clearly getting the basketball in the net, Lacey smiling to herself. "I miss you guys" Lacey smiled, as Jack nodded his head. "I miss you too" Jack smiled. "Won't be long now though" Ben smiled, as Lacey nodded her head. "I know, it's just weird being away from you all, makes me wonder how I did it for so long before" Lacey mumbled, as Jack nodded his head. "Won't do it again will ya" Jack laughed, as Mason and Declan come bouncing over, taking the phone from Jacks hands. "Hey baby" Mason smiled, as Lacey smiled wide at her phone screen. "Hey B" Lacey smiled, as Mason smiled wider now. "How's the bubbas? They being good?" Mason smiled, as Lacey nodded her head. "They're fine, don't forget we've got another scan on Tuesday" Lacey reminded him as he nodded his head. "Yeah, Chil and El have one too, figured we could all go together and get lunch after?" Mason smiled as Lacey nodded her head. "Sounds like a plan" Lacey smiled. "Anyway, I need to go and get some food, and probably go to the toilet again, but I'll call you later?" Lacey smiled, as Mason nodded his head, blowing her a kiss before he hung up the phone, but not before he told her how much he loved her, leaving Lacey wondering how she had ever got so lucky.

Lacey sat in her old bedroom, her guitar resting on her legs, her bump making it almost impossible to strum in the guitar, but she was going to give it her best shot.

Lacey had found one of her old songbooks here, of all the times she had tried to write something to let the world know she was falling madly in love with a Chelsea midfielder, and for some reason, the conversation she had, had with Mason over a month ago played in her head, this song that she had half written was when she knew she was in love with Mason, she was just too scared to admit it to him.
Lacey had spent most of her pregnancy so far writing odd songs and doing rough and new recordings, her plan to release an album just before she gave birth, something for the fans whilst she cherished every moment she could with the children she would bring into the world. The difference being from the album she had previously recorded and released towards Mason and past relationships, as well as the one off songs she had dropped recently, this album would be dedicated to Mason, her friends, everyone or everything that had given her a reason to continue on her journey of life.

Yeah, I know you said that love is just a waste of time, but I would be honoured if you wasted mine, Im hopeless, for hoping that you're falling, too

Lacey Cross - singer songwriter is currently on her heartbreak vacation at her family home in Birmingham. Cross is almost seven months pregnant with football Mason Mount after the heartbreak of loosing their child from a previous relationship a year or so ago.
Mount has been seen out with the England football team celebrating a win from the game this weekend, which Cross did not attend.
A source close to the couple has stated that they have yet again called it quits, arguing that this was Mounts last chance.
Whilst we can't wait to see the children of Cross and Mount at his football games, it is inevitable that we will most likely not see Cross featuring with the Mount 19 shirt.

"I swear they write some fucking bullshit, why can't they let us just be us" Mason groaned, as he threw his phone onto the bed in a huff, Jack and Ben nodding their heads, but playing too much attention to the games console in front of them to actually process that he was talking about. "I get ya, they said all sorts about me and Amber" Tyrone shook his head laughing, as Phil nodded his head. "Agreed, the media are wankers" Phil commented. "I should probably go ring her" Mason mumbled, as he picked his phone up, ringing Lacey, wanting to talk about how well he had played and the goal he had scored, and how much he missed her and couldn't wait to see her, but all he was met with was the dial tone.
