The Daily Mail;

Singer Lacey Cross has recently returned home after a horrifying collision with a lorry involving herself and her brother Callum. The siblings are both fine, despite the damage to the car they were due to travel in.
Lacey addressed the rumours on her Instagram page earlier today, stating that despite everything she was happy that herself and her brother are okay, and live to see another day.
Despite Lacey being so positive about the whole ordeal it is clear she had suffered some form of PTSD with struggling to get into a car leaving the hospital. Lacey's agency have asked for respect and privacy during this time for her to recover fully.
Lacey was seen arriving at on and off boyfriends Mason Mounts house this afternoon with friends Lauren and Declan Rice (or soon to be Mr and Mrs Rice)
We pray for a speedy recovery for Lacey and her brother Callum.

"Do you want anything to eat babe?" Mason questioned, as he stood by the kitchen door, looking over at Lacey on the sofa, Mounty sat next to her, her fingers messing with his fur, as her eyes stayed focused on the news, seeing her name flash over the screen. "Cuddles and ice cream sound good" Lacey smiled over to him, as she turned off the TV, trying to get up from the sofa, Mounty refusing to move from her legs, and Mason shaking his head as he walked over to her, sitting in front of her. "Just rest up" Mason mumbled, as Lacey sighed to herself but nodded her head. "I'm going to make pancakes too though" Mason smiled, as Lacey rolled her eyes, turning the TV back on, and flicking it onto Netflix, looking for a decent film to watch whilst Mason pretended to be on Master Chef in the kitchen.

I know you remember how I would hold you, still remember remember how I would approach you, I think I loved you before I knew you, know we be fucking before I screw you

Lacey heard the music Mason was playing whilst he was cooking, and decided to go and investigate what he was doing.
"Is it a Lil Baby morning?" Lacey smiled as she looked over at Mason who has some flour on his cheek, smiling over at her. "I thought you was watching TV?" Mason smiled, as he leant against the kitchen side, wiping his face but the traces of flour were still there, Lacey walking over to him and wiping the rest of it away.

Made a promise I won't use you, play my cards right I won't lose you

Lacey looked down at the counter Mason was standing in front of, seeing the pancakes stacked high. "We eating then?" Lacey smiled, as Mason smiled, nodding his head, pulling her into him and turning her around to look at the pancakes properly, his hands on her waist from behind as he leaned on her shoulder, smiling across at her.
"I love you Lace, I want you to be my girlfriend, I want to be able to hold you in the streets, kiss you when I want to" Mason whispered. "I wanna look into to crowds at games and see you wearing my name, smiling and shouting at the referee" Mason chuckled. "I want to go to Lauren and Decs wedding and dance with you, and think I'm the future that could be us in a suit and white dress" Mason breathed, as he kissed her jaw line. "This last week I felt like my world was turned upside down, and I know we have our bad parts, but they make me love you more, we've spent so much time away, and it's always been you, I don't know why it's took my so long to realise it" Mason whispered, as Lacey nodded her head,  smiling down at the pancakes.

The pancakes were decorated with blueberries and strawberries, Masons favourite being the strawberries, Lacey's the blueberries, with whipped cream placed delicately on the sides in swirls, and chocolate writing spread across the top pancake.
Will you be my official girlfriend?

"Of course I'll be your official girlfriend" Lacey smiled, as she turned around and placed a kiss to his lips, smiling briefly at the flavour of chocolate that come with it. "Did you eat the chocolate?" Lacey giggled, as Mason smiled nodding his head. "You don't need to be any sweeter" Lacey teased, as Mason smirked down at her. "This is perfect, you're perfect" Mason whispered, as his hand danced around Lacey's hips, holding her next to him. "Mase?" Lacey whispered, as he looked down at the girl in his arms, taking in her facial features, the way her eyes crinkled when she smiled, the orbs of green dominantly lighter than when she wasn't smiling. The way her eyes always showed the emotion she was feeling, her eyes changing colour to occupy her mood, the simple way to remember it was if she was angry her eyes were darker, if she was happier they were lighter, and Mason had enjoyed the experiences of seeing both. "Yeah?" He whispered, as he pulled his eyes away from her lips, looking into her eyes, looking at how they sparkled for him, his chest feeling warm, the amount of love for this girl running through his veins, but he wouldn't want it any other way.
"I got you" Lacey smiled, as Mason chuckled to himself, nodding his head at the saying they always used to say, and it always come back to years ago, but it wasn't what mattered, what mattered was despite their rocky start, the breakups and the make ups, here they were again, in the arms of the person they belonged with. "I got you too" Mason whispered, as he placed a kiss to her forehead. "Is that going to be our love yous from now on?" Mason whispered, as Lacey smiled. "Maybe it'll be our always?" Lacey whispered, as Mason raised his eyebrow, clearly not getting the film she was quoting. "Please tell me you've watched The Fault In Our Stars" Lacey mumbled, as Mason shook his head. "Right bring the pancakes, we've got educating to do" Lacey smirked, as Mason rolled his eyes. "And here was me thinking we was going to get round to physical education" Mason mumbled, as Lacey laughed to herself.

Authors Note;
We deserved the cute chapter 🥺
I was literally talking to my friend today about this, and his words were "you started writing that in isolation, how come you haven't let it go get" and I honestly don't know.. I pushed a third book for no reason.. I have got other things in the works but I always push them away to write this, even though it's not really going anywhere..
I've forward planned all the chapters coming up but where do you guys want to see it go to? To the wedding? A couple of years after the wedding as an ending?
This is yours as much as mine.
As always, the messages, the votes, the comments, the reads - they're always appreciated ❤️❤️
