"I just can't believe that people can be so fucking mean, all the time" Lacey muttered, as she sat in Lauren's lounge, Sasha and Ellie sat on the other sofa, as Lauren nodded her head sympathetically. "It's fucking out of order more like" Sasha muttered, as she sipped on her drink, shaking her head. "Do people not get that you've been together for years and you're expecting children together, like they need to just fuck off and deal with it" Sasha muttered, as Ellie nodded her head. "What did Mase have to say?" Ellie questioned, as Lacey shook her head. "I haven't told him" Lacey muttered, as she took a sip of the water that was in her hand. "Don't you think he should know about it?" Lauren whispered, as Lacey sighed. "If I tell him that people are hurling abuse at me at a shopping centre his not going to let me go out by myself, I need to be independent" Lacey muttered. "But it's not fair for you to walk around and be verbally abused, it's not fair on anyone" Sasha muttered, as she shook her head. "You're right, but life isn't always fair and that's just something we have to learn to deal with" Lacey whispered, as she finished her water. "I need to go, but FaceTime later?" Lacey whispered, as all the girls nodded at her.

As Lacey got into the car and drove home, she couldn't begin to process how lucky she actually was in life. She had been given a second chance, for whatever reasons the gods above had decided, she was given it. She was happily in love with a footballer, only to which some girls would dream about, but Lacey got to live that everyday, waking up to Mason was like a dream, his arms wrapped around her, and the way he would always pull her in closer, never wanting to leave the bed.
She was also a popular singer, it didn't matter if she wasn't currently in the charts, she had an album that had over a million streams, three of her songs placing in the top ten for the week they were released, another dream she couldn't only ever dream about in the life she lived before.
But here she was, driving home to her beautiful little home, ready for the family that would soon be living in it, the twins kicking inside her stomach to remind her of everything that was yet to come, and all she felt was happiness.

"It's been a while guys and gals" Lacey smiled, as she threw a peace sign at the camera, smiling at the comments that soon flooded her screen. "The babies are all good, I think they miss their day, or they'll be footballers because they haven't stopped kicking since I've got home" Lacey chuckled, as she answered some of the comments. "Mason is great, honestly I couldn't ask for a better half, his just the best" Lacey smiled, she was quite open about her relationship with Mason, but since the recent hate directed towards her, on and off social media she had opened for the no comments allowed sections and kept majority of her time with Mason to herself again, only talking about it when she felt comfortable to do that. "Yes, I'm going to do a quick song before Mason gets home" Lacey smiled, as she got up from the bed she had been sitting at, and walked over to the piano with her phone, setting it down as her hands closed across the keys.

Maybe you'd be happier with someone else, maybe loving me's the reason you can't love yourself, before I turn your heart into a ghost town, show me everything we built so I can tear it all down

Lacey sang with so much emotion in her voice, holding back the tears, the hate finally getting to her and trying to break her down, and tying that in with pregnancy hormones wasn't easy either.
"How are you guys all doing?" Lacey smiled, as she took a deep breath composing herself, smiling at the comments she was getting through. "Mase will be back in like half an hour" Lacey smiled, answering some of the comments about her and Mason. "I should probably go and feed Mounty now, but I love you all, so so much" Lacey smiled, before she ended the livestream and walked back into the lounge, sitting on the sofa, watching the news in the background and she played with Mounty, before letting him go out in the garden, looking at the clock in the kitchen that read six pm.
"Hey" Mason breathed, as he wrapped his arms around her, making Lacey jump a little as she didn't know he was back yet. "Hey" Lacey smiled, as she leant back into his arms, smiling, this was her happy place, and she didn't care how many times she said it, this was all she ever wanted.
"Good day?" Mason whispered, as he kissed the side of her head, watching as Mounty ran around chasing his tail in the garden. "It's been okay, how was training?" Lacey whispered, her eyes fixated on the dog in front of them, she knew if she turned around and looked at Mason, or buried herself in his chest she would break. "Lace, are you okay? Mason whispered, as he tried to turn her around, but she stood her ground, putting all of her weight onto her feet so that he wouldn't be able to. "Lace?" Mason whispered, as he pulled her into him closer, spinning her around.
"Lace?" Mason whispered, as her eyes looked up into his. "Babe, are we okay?" Mason whispered, as Lacey looked down at her feet. "We're okay" Lacey smiled, as she looked back up at him, Masons eyes scanning her face. "But you're not baby, talk to me" Mason whispered, as Lacey shook her head, the tears lining her eyes. "Baby, talk to me" Mason whispered, as Lacey leant into Masons chest, the tears falling from her eyes.
