Lacey was now on the verge of an emotional breakdown, whilst being extremely drunk, wanting to throw up, but also wanting to dance around the room like a lunatic, Mason standing in the corner, now drinking water, knowing he needed to sober up to talk to her, not that it would matter with the state that she was now in.

So back to what I was saying, this could be us but you playing

Lacey swung her hips around the beat, watching Mason from afar, but she knew he was staring at her when their eyes connected, Lacey smiling to herself as she walked over to him. "Am I out of your bad books now?" Mason whispered, as one of his hand held her hip, almost to steady her movements, but to hold her at the same time.

This could be us but you playing, I'm high I hope I don't sound crazy

"You're always in my bad books" Lacey mumbled, as she placed her hands on his shoulders, looking up at him. "It wasn't anything bad Lace, I told her I was taken and she left me alone, more than you did fo Mingsy" mason mumbled, as Lacey looked down, feeling the guilt run through her body. He was right, she hadn't told him that she was taken, but again, they wasn't official either, leaving Lacey in the mindset of she didn't even know what she was with Mason again, feeling like she was tied to him without a title.

Spin the bottle, spin the fucking bottle.

"You don't know the things that you do to me Lace, I just wish you could see that it'll always be you" Mason whispered, as he moved the hair from her face, his one hand still on hip and she danced against him, in the end, he put his half empty beer bottle down, pulling her into the corner, holding her waist in his hands, as she turned around and faced him, looking over his facial features. "This could be us, but you playing" Lacey whispered, using the song that was playing in the background to sum up their relationship. "What do I need to do Lace?" Mason whispered, as he held her hips, moving them in a rhythm that suggested what he would rather be doing with her right now. "Ask you to move in?" Mason whispered, as Lacey smiled, but shook her head. "Ask you to come upstairs with me?" Mason smirked, as Lacey smiled wider, but still shook her head. "Because if you want me to confess my love for you and ask you to be my girlfriend, you're going to have to wait until your sober" Mason smirked, as Lacey rolled her eyes. "I'm well aware of what's going on around me Mr Mount" Lacey whispered, as Mason smirked at her. "Mr Mount?" He questioned, as Lacey nodded her head. "I like that" Lacey smiled. "You're a Mr and your last name is Mount" Lacey smiled, as Mason nodded his head, confirming how drunk she was to himself. "Your last name would be good as Mount" Mason whispered, as he placed a kiss to her temple, holding her close for a moment.
"We're going to be alright aren't we?" Mason whispered, as Lacey looked up at him, nodding her head. "We just can't dive into it, no matter how many times we've done this" Lacey whispered. "I know, but that doesn't change the fact I want to kiss you right now" mason whispered, as he looked around them, realising that no one was actually watching them right now. "so do it" Lacey whispered, repeating the words that was said years ago, when they first kissed in front of their friends, the moment before everything spiralled between them.

Money make the world go round, money make your girl go down

"You know I want you more than anything though, right?" Mason whispered, as his lips left Lacey's, her eyes sparkling up at him, as his face softened, and for the first time in a while he felt happy, it didn't matter about the party, or the fact his best friend was getting married, it didn't matter that he had been part of the squad that had brought it home to England again, or the second time champions of the champions league, let alone team of the year for the third year running, what mattered to him was the girl he held in his arms. "I think I'm going to be sick" Lacey mumbled, as she ran out of his arms and into the patio area, leaning over one of the tall plant pots and emptying her stomach into the plant pot, Declan standing next to Mason laughing at her. "You gonna help her?" Declan smirked. "I saw your kiss" Declan teased, as Mason looked at him. "Anybody else?" Mason whispered as Declan shook his head. "Nah, they think you both hate each other again" Declan smirked. "Now seriously, go help her" Declan laughed, as Mason nodded his head, holding Lacey's hair back. "Why did you get yourself into this state" Mason mumbled, as he held Lacey's hair, rubbing the bottom of her back lightly.
"Because I thought we was going to be over again" Lacey whispered, as she sat on the floor, her arm resting on the plant pot, as Mason crouched down next to her, an arm resting on her back. "And whilst you may be able to deal with that, and deal with it in your own way, I can't go through another heartbreak with you Mase, it hurts to much, I'd rather feel numb than live in a world where you're not mine" Lacey mumbled, as Mason smiled to himself.
"Then marry me" Mason chuckled, as Lacey looked up at him, convincing herself that this was the alcohol.
"I'm serious Lace, move in with me, marry me, let's have another dog and children" Mason whispered.
"What the fuck bro?" Jacks voice boomed from behind them. "Uh oh" Lacey hiccuped, as she emptied the rest of her stomach into the plant pot.
