"Lace?" Mason called from the bedroom door, looking at the girl who was on the bed wrapped in a blanket, staring blankly out of the window, almost as if she was trying to count the stars. "Please tell me Alexa was someone before me and that it hasn't even happening since we agreed things were going to be different" Lacey whispered, but her gaze never moved from the window. Mason sighed, and walked to the bed and sat down next to her, placing his hands on the top of his thighs. "Lexa was someone who was before you, she was probably the closest person I had apart from the group during the time you was gone" Mason stated, his voice calm and collected, more than what Lacey's was. "That doesn't answer my question" Lacey whispered, turning to look at him, looking at how the lights from outside hit his face perfectly, making him seem like he was glowing, showing how perfectly his face fell, his hair and his jaw line, let alone his eyes looking like they sparkled and belonged in the sky she had been looking at. "I saw her before I left for St George's" Mason whispered, confirming that what Ellie had said on the phone was true. "But it wasn't a date or anything like that, it was just a coffee" mason whispered, but it didn't stop the pain in Lacey's heart, feeling like Mason could hear her heart beating out of her chest. "You said things would be different, we both did, and look at us" Lacey whispered, as Mason shook his head. "Meeting you with Alexa was innocent, it was just a coffee and a catch up, she's with someone else now anyway" Mason stated, as Lacey looked at him, studying his eyes, trying to pick about the truth and what he was saying, but the more she looked at him, the more she felt like he was telling the truth, like there was nothing more to it than coffee. "Plus I think Mingsy wants you" Mason mumbled, as Lacey shook her head. "You're changing the subject" Lacey whispered, as Mason nodded his head. "You do it all the time, but if anything, I think I need to be worried more about Mingsy than you do about Alexa" Mason stated, as his hand found Lacey's, holding it briefly, rubbing his thumb across the back of her hand. "You've never had anyone to worry about, it's always been you" Lacey breathed, as Mason nodded his head, placing his forehead against Lacey's, holding one hand in hers, and the other placed on her cheek. "It'll always be you Lace" Mason breathed, his lips close to Lacey's. "There's no doubt about that" Mason whispered, as Lacey smiled a small smile up at him, as he placed his lips to hers. "Now let's get into bed" Mason whispered, as the two of them tangled their bodies under the duvet and blankets, finding comfort in each other's arms.

"So you don't want me to set you up?" Lauren chuckled, as Lacey sighed shaking her head, wanting to hit it off her dining room table, as Lauren looked over at her. "Remember when we first met and I told you that you could tell me anything in confidence, no judgement and it didn't matter who it was about, it would stay between us two" Lauren whispered, as Lacey nodded her head, replaying the conversation she had, had with Lauren almost two years ago. "I do" Lacey whispered. "So is there anything you want to talk to me about now?" Lauren questioned, as Lacey sighed again, looking down at she lap, but nodded her head. "Promise me this is between us two, not us two and Dec" Lacey whispered, as Lauren nodded her head. "I promise" Lauren smiled. "Me and Mase" Lacey whispered, hoping that it was enough and she wouldn't have to say anything else, as Lauren raised her eyebrows, meaning she wanted more than what Lacey was giving her. "We're kinda back on, not official but together, if you get me" Lacey whispered, feeling a weight fall off her shoulders as she said it. "You're kidding me right?" Lauren laughed, her face showing excitement, as Lacey shushed her playfully. "This stays between us we didn't want to tell anyone put everyone's trying to set us up with people" Lacey mumbled, as Lauren nodded her head. "So you and Tyrone aren't happening then?" Lauren teased, as Lacey shook her head laughing. "Nope, we're not" Lacey smiled.

Meanwhile, in Masons house, he sat with Declan who couldn't help but keep side-eyeing him. "What's with the looks?" Mason mumbled, as he ran a hand over his face, and then placed his controller on his lap, pausing the game and looking at his best friend. "You look like you're flowing" Declan laughed, as Mason shook his head smirking at him. "Is it that post sex glow though?" Declan teased as Mason shook his head. "Anything you wanna tell me before our double date?" Declan teased, as Mason sighed to himself. "I'm kinda seeing someone else" Mason whispered, as Declan looked over at him with widened eyes. "Who?" Declan smiled, clearly interested in the conversation. "You've got to promise not to blab your mouth because I promised I wouldn't say anything" Mason muttered, realising he had already said too much. "Are you going to tell me who or are you going to leave me guessing with the many, many options it could be" Declan smirked sarcastically, as Mason rolled his eyes, pushing Declan's arms playfully. "You know who it is" mason whispered, as Declan nodded his head. "So no one else knows?" Declan smirked, as Mason nodded his head. "No one knows and she will kill me if she knows you know now" Mason mumbled, but the same as Lacey, he felt like a weight had been lifted from his shoulders, but he felt now like their relationship was just starting.
