Rachel's POV
We are in a room. I don't know what it is exactly but it looks like a court.

Gally: Things are changing. There's bi denying that. First Ben gets stung in broad daylight. And then Alby. And now our Greenie here has taken it upon herself to go into the maze. Which is a clear violation of our rules here.

Frypan:Yeah, but she saved Alby's life.

Gally:Did she? For three years, we've coexisted with these things. And now, (he points me) you've killed one of them. Who knows what that could mean for us.

Newt:What do you suggest we do?

Gally:She has to be punished.

All the boys start protesting.

Chuck:Cmon.

Jack:She killed a Griever!

Newt: Minho, Thomas. You guys were with her. What do you think?

Minho and Thomas look at me and then they look at each other. Thomas nodds and Minho starts talking.

Minho:I think in all the time we've been here no one has ever killed a Griever before.

Gally looks at me and I look at the two runners.

Thomas:When we turned rail and ran Rachel stayed behind to help Alby. Look, I don't know if she's brave or stupid, but whatever it is, we need more of it.

The two boys look at each other and nod.

Thomas:I say we make her a runner.

I look at the two boys with widen eyes.

The boys start chattering.

Frypan:Thomas, let's not jump the gun here.

I look at Frypan and in front of Frypan stands Newt. Unfortunately for him, he can't hide his smile.

Gally:If you want to throw the newbie a parade that's fine. Go ahead. But if there is one thing I know about the maze it is that you do not -

He doesn't manage to complete the sentence and something is heard from outside. We all stand up and walk out of the room. Actually let's say run.

I stop running and turn to Thomas.

Rachel:Okay wait, I know that sound.

Thomas:It's the box. It's coming back up.

Minho:It shouldn't be.

We all start running again.

Frypan:Newt what do you see?

Newt:It's another girl.

I look at the girl. She's there laying on the bottom of the box.

Newt:I think she's dead.

Gally:Yeah, remember the last time?

They all look at me and remember the time I arrived.

Gally:What's in her hand?

Newt takes the piece of paper out of her hand and read it out loud.

Newt:She's the last one.. Ever. What the hell does that mean?

Gally:Do you still think I'm overreacting?

Rachel:So what's with the new girl? Is she awake?

I ask Newt while he walks in the Med Bay.

Newt:I don't know yet. I'm going to see.

Rachel:Okay, then I'll come with you.
