Let's Get Out Of Here

Thomas's POV
I rush through the vents. When I get back in the room everyone look at me. Wondering.

Minho:Thomas!

Thomas :We gotta go. We gotta go right now.

Minho:What the hell are you talking about?

Newt:What do you mean, "we gotta go"?

Thomas :They're coming. Come on. We gotta go.

Newt:Thomas where's Rachel?

I grab some sheets and tie the door so it won't open.

Thomas :They're coming for us. She's still alive.

Minho:What happened? Aris what happened?

Newt: Thomas can you just calm down and talk to us.

Thomas: She's still alive.

Winston :Who's she? Teresa?

Thomas:Ava.

Newt:Ava? Will you just turn around and talk to us?

Thomas :It's WCKD! It's still WCKD. It's always been WCKD.

Newt:Thomas. What happened?

Thomas:They took her. They took Rachel.

We get out of a vent and I look around in the hallways.

Thomas :Come on come on. Let's go!

Aris :You guys go ahead. There's something I gotta do.

Thomas:What are you talking about?

Aris:Trust me. It's important. You guys wanna get outta here right? Just go.

Winston:I'll go with him.

Thomas :Okay. Let's go.

Minho:Should we trust this kid?

Thomas :You don't want to know where we'd be without him.

When we turn left we bump into a woman.

Woman:What are you kids doing out?

A siren is heard and she looks at us with and angry look.

Thomas :Take us to the girls.

She shows us the way after we threaten her. In the way there we see a man. He shoots us but he misses. Minho knocks him down and I take the man's gun. Then we continue our way. She takes us in a room with Doctors.

Thomas:Where are they?

I turn my head and I see a curtain. I open it and I see Teresa laying on a bed. She opens her eyes.

Teresa:Thomas?

Thomas:We're leaving come on.

She gets up and I turn again to the woman.

Thomas:Where's Rachel?

Woman:I don't know where she is. They didn't bring her to us.

We hear voices and we break a window to get out. We get out and run. We see a man on front of us but he's suddenly knocked out.

Rachel:You really thought you would leave without me didn't you?

We all laugh and then start running again. We see our exit. I use the key card to open it but it doesn't.

Thomas:No no no!

Janson :Kids!

We see Janson at the end of the hallway. I threaten him with the gun I was holding.

Thomas :Open the door Janson!

Janson :Listen to me. I'm trying to save your life. The maze is one thing, but you kids wouldn't last one day out in the Scorch. If the elements don't kill you, the Cranks will. Thomas you have to believe me. I only want what's best for you.

Rachel:Yeah let me guess.

Rachel shouts from afar.

Rachel :WCKD is good?

Janson :You're not getting through that door.

Suddenly the door opens and we see Aris and Winston on the other side.

Aris:Hey guys.

Newt :Come on.

The others run outside.

Rachel:Thomas!

Newt:Come on let's go!

I start running. The door starts closing.

Teresa:No!

Frypan:Come on Thomas!

Right before it closes I slide under the door and get outside. Aris smashes the lock so Janson can't come out. We all laugh and then run outside. When we get outside we can feel the sand in our shoes. We climb a dune and we can hear male voices behind us. They're looking for us

Rachel:We'll lose them in the storm.

We hide behind a dune and Rachel runs towards somewhere.

Thomas:Rachel wait.

She finds a place with a broken glass. She enters.

Newt:No don't.

Rcahel:Get down here.

We all enter sliding on the sand. With a flashlight we light the place around.

Minho:Where the hell are we?

I walk deeper in the place.

Teresa:Thomas stop.

Thomas:We gotta keep going.

Teresa:Can someone tell me what's going on?

Rachel :It's WCKD. They lied to us. We never escaped. Me, Thomas and Aris, we found the bodies. Too many to count.

Minho:What do you mean? Dead bodies?

Thomas :No, but they weren't alive either. They had them strung up. With tubes coming out of them.

Rachel: They were being drained. There is something inside of us that WCKD wants. Something in our blood.

Aris:So we have to get as far away from them as possible.

Newt:Okay. So what's the plan? You do have a plan right?

Rachel:Yeah, I don't know.

Newt:Well we followed you out here and now you're saying that you have no idea where we're going or what we're doing?

Rachel:Hey I'm trying to survive. That's the main part of my plan. The rest of it I think it later.

Aris:Wait. Janson said something about people hiding in the mountains. Some kind of resistance or army.

Thomas:The Right Arm. If they're really against WCKD maybe they can help us.

Rachel:Ava said that the Right Arm wants us as bad as she does. What if they want us for the same reason?

Thomas:We've already escaped once. Let's make it twice.

Rachel :Okay let's go.

Newt:People. In the mountains. Mountain people. That's your plan?

Rachel:It's the only chance we have.

Winston :Hey guys. Check this out. Newt bring the light.

With the light he shows us footprints leading somewhere.

Winston:Someone has been here before.
