Too Many Secrets

Rachel's POV
Next day we sit on a table in the dining room and I keep making eye contact with Aris while Janson shouts kids's names.

Janson: Alice, Barry, Walt, Edgar, Samantha

Rachel:I wanna know what's through that door.

Newt:We've been over this. You said they ere covered up, so you don't know what you saw. It could've been anything under there.

Rachel:I know exactly what I saw. They were bodies. Aris said they bring in a new batch every night.

Thomas:Who the hell is Aris?

I point them a boy who is sitting by himself checking on a bread.

Minho:Well, I'm sold.

Janson:And last but not least, David. Thank you very much. Enjoy the rest of your evening.

Newt:Well until we know anything for certain, we should keep our heads down and try not to draw any attention all right?

I get up fast and walk to the door with the two men.

Newt:What is she doing?

Frypan:I think she's drawing attention to herself.

I walk behind the kids who are chosen to leave this place but a man stops me.

Man:Hand on. You weren't called.

Rachel:I know, I'm just gonna be a second

Man:This is a restricted area kid.

Rachel:I just wanna see my friend. Can you let me through?

Man:Get your ass back in that chair.

I turn around to leave but I hear this familiar voice inside my head telling me the opposite.

Voice:Get though that door Rachel. Now!

I turn around fast and I walk past the two men. The one man grabs me and throws me back in the floor in the dining room. I grt up fast.

Rachel:What's your problem?

Man:Back off!

Rachel:What are you hiding? Why won't you let me see her?

The other boys from my maze come and hold me away from the man.

Janson appears.

Janson :What's happening here?

Janson looks at me.

Janson:Rachel, I thought we could trust each other. You know we're all on the same team here.

Rachel:I don't want you to say it. I want you to show it to me. Until then, I don't believe you.

He sighs.

Janson:Get them to their bunks.

They put us in out room and I keep looking at the door.

Minho:What the hell was that about?

Newt:You didn't really think they were just gonna let you through?

Rachel:Of course I didn't.

I take out of my pocket a keycard.

Rachel:I'm gonna find what's on the other side of that door.

They all sigh.

Rachel:Guys, they're hiding something. I know it. These people are not who they say the are.
