Trust

Rachel's POV
After Klaus told me the story I kept thinking. I didn't tell them my plan. They kept asking me but I told them that it wasn't complete. The truth was that they wouldn't let me do it. Unfortunately for you I'm not going to tell you my plan. Today I'm going to go to Damien's house to ask him why he disappeared at the party.

I'm in my car and park it outside Damien's house. I walk to the door and knock. Charlie opens the door.

Charlie:Hello Rachel.

Rachel :Hey, is Damien here?

Charlie:He's into the woods.

Rachel :Ok thanks.

I walk towards the woods but stop to look at the trees worried. After last night I'm a little afraid of walking alone. Well I have to go if I want to go find Damien. I enter the woods and look around for him. I find him at the Bayou staring at the lake.

Damien :Rachel? What are you doing here?

Rachel :Hey... , I came to ask you something.

Damien:I guess it's where I went yesterday after the party.

Rachel :Yeah....

Damien:Well, when we entered the house again, you said everyone to leave. So the guests started walking outside. The crowd led me outside and I couldn't get back inside. I tried to find another way in your house but nothing. Everything were closed. Why you asking?

Rachel :Not important...

Damien:Cmon tell me.

I sighed

Rachel :Lucien kind of attacked last night.

Damien:What?! And you say that it isn't important? Why wouldn't you tell me? I thought you trusted me.

Rachel :I do, I do trust you. I don't know why I tried to hide it.

Damien:Well are you ok?

Rachel:Yeah. He underestimated my powers.

He comes and hugs me.

Damien:I promised you I will always protect you.

Rachel :I know many people that don't keep promises.

He pushes me a little so he can look me in the eyes.

Damien:Well I always keep my promises.

Rachel:Like my family says. Always and Forever.

Next Day
I am in my room and get ready to go to school. My family decided that in order to protect me I have to be everyday at school. Rebekah will drive me.

We are in the car. I look outside the window.

Rachel:Do I really have to go to the school? Can't I stay home?

Rebekah:No. Well you can but if you are at school you can learn spells at the same time.

Rachel:Whatever.

We arrive at the school and I see Damien with his motorcycle at the parking lot.

Rachel:Hey Damien. What are you doing here?

Damien:I knew that you'd be here. You and a relative of yours.

Rachel:What you wanted to talk about with Rebekah?

Damien:Oh nothing just that I saw her talking to Lucien.

Rachel:What?

I turn to face Rebekah.
