"Your Highness, We have a lot of preparations for the New Years Eve party in a few months time, do have anything to add to them as the Queen wants your input too."

Jaemin wasn't really a big event planner, especially went it came to pointless events like the royal ball that was just a waste of time, effort and money that was clearly needed somewhere else. And besides his mind was too filled with this mornings events, that nothing else came to his mind apart from her wonderful smile.

He was completely under her spell and he barely even knew her and she didn't even know his real name or that he was the Prince. Would she think differently of him if she knew that he was royalty? would she stay by his side and continue to be friends with him?

He snapped out of his trance.

"Decent coffee maybe, they need that at balls, hirer someone that does decent confectionary as well and not someone who makes plastic tasting food."

Jaemin suggested before walking off to his room to have some alone time. He often did as he was always surrounded by people that would often want his attention especially females of higher classes but he was never interested. He would absolutely dread the day when a female came to the palace with a so-called 'sapphire' diamond that just turned out to be fake which he was very much thankful for.

He made it to his room, closed the door behind him and pulled out his phone to then pull up a contact

'She's probably busy with her personal life'

He thought before sitting down on his massive bed that he felt so small in, even though he was quite a tall individual who was not really bothered with his height but for some reason this bed made him question his height sometimes.

His phone began ringing

Incoming call from 💖💖Han💖💖

"Hello Nana, Sorry I'm not really a texting type of person"

He heard from the other end of the phone, making him instantly smile.

"Neither am I, but most people are so I figured you would be but it's amazing how alike we are."

Jaemin replied, indeed he was amazed at how they had so many things in common already. He smiled more brightly when he heard a light giggle from the other line while he shifted into a more comfortable position.

"So Mr Na, What are you up to now?"

She asked, making Jaemin freeze in his seat after hearing her referring to him as 'Mr. Na', He hadn't told her his name so was this just a guess or did she somehow get told his real name.

"How did you know that was my real surname?"

Jaemin was in a sudden state of panic, his heart pounded against his ribcage as the anxiety built up within him. He wasn't ready to tell her yet since he hadn't known her for long, he hadn't built up enough trust in her yet.

"Woah! It was only a guess since I sometimes get called Lee when my cousin or brother isn't around but my guessing skills must be elite now."

Haneul was deeply impressed with that guess but she initially thought that his nickname was based on his surname as she knew a lot of people who came into her cafe that had nicknames based on their surnames.

Jaemin relaxed back into his pillow, knowing that she only guessed meant that nobody had told her. Not that anyone could have told her because nobody knew what he looked like in the kingdom so he was off the hook.

"Well I'm not really doing much, nothing at all actually apart from laying in bed talking to a beautiful Angel. What about you?"

Haneul could have screamed if she hadn't covered her mouth with the palm of her hand.

'Stay cool, play it off'

"Well, I'm lying in bed too, talking to a cutie. But An Angel wants to know if a cutie wants to go on a picnic on Christmas eve with her?"

Jaemin chuckled, in his eyes, she was the cutie. She always asked first which made his heart flutter and made his insides all warm.

"The cutie would love to but doesn't the Angel have her Angel family to spend it with?"

Jaemin really did want some company since his friends within the castle were always busy or on holiday around this time apart from Jeno and Haechan who worked far too hard for their own good and only took Christmas day and boxing day off but this year they weren't even doing that.

"No, her Angel family are busy working so she is all alone but could use a cuties company."

Haneul felt like she had just confessed that she was mostly alone during the Christmas holidays but in a mediocre way. But she often wondered what it would be like to spend the holiday with someone else though and she thought that Nana was the perfect person to do so with.

"Well, I'll gladly come spend it with you but we can't have a picnic outside surely? "

Jaemin asked, making Haneul giggle at how he pointed out the obvious in his cute angelic way, And he called her an Angel, that man was definitely more of an Angel than she'll ever be.

"Well, I was referring to a winter indoor picnic- OOOOH IT'S SNOWING OH MY GOSH!"

Haneul squealed as she shot up to look more closely out of her bedroom window, making sure to take her phone that was on speakerphone to the window with her. Jaemin couldn't help but think that her actions reminded him of a small child who was fascinated over small things such as snow. He found it adorable, that she still had her inner child within her.

"Nana, can you see, watch the snowflakes fall with me, it's really satisfying, trust me."

She asked sweetly, a voice full of excitement. Jaemin got out of his warm bed and went to the window as she asked and began to watch the snowflakes litter the ground creating a thin blanket.

"I'm watching, and it truly is satisfying."
