Haneul sighed as she finished up the last of the tidying up, Nana had to rush off for something important while they began to tidy up as he insisted on helping her out. He had majorly apologised but she knew he had no choice but to go and she thought nothing of it.
"I really wish I had a pet or something to keep me company, but Nana was lovely company, I just wish I could know more about him."
She breathed out, having just packed away the blanket.
She was now alone again and the void reopened filling her body and mind with emptiness. His hesitance really played a toll on her thoughts.
Was he the one? Or was the fact that he kept her company the reason behind her want for him? The want of someone's company had really taken her to this extreme?
She shook her head.
'That's not why I like him'
She sat on the couch before the idea of going on a walk came to her mind, she needed a breather and going on a walk was the best way to calm her mind. She shot up and grabbed her coat and shoes and walked out of the house, locking the door behind her.
As it was Christmas Eve there weren't many people around, the streets were calm for the first time which she was very thankful for but at the same time, it made her feel even more lonely. She didn't have any friends apart from Miyoung who was now on vacation with Jisung which made her happy to know they were happy. She missed how her life was so full of human interaction and now it was completely empty.
'I guess I know what the Prince felt like before he had company.'
She couldn't help be jealous of the Prince that she didn't even know existed, he had her brother and her cousin around him and yet she had no one. He even sent off her old Best Friend who she cherished dearly, maybe her loneliness was actually her missing him? But they hadn't seen each other in years so that was out of the question.
Her eyes trailed the cold wet floor before coming across a bare bench which she was walking towards, she sat down on it and looked up at the orange and blue sky, signalling that the sun was about to set and it would send the sky into darkness. She watched her cold smoky breathe float up into the sky, alone.
"I wonder what you're doing right now Nana? I hope it's something nice, somewhere warm and cosy while thinking about me...maybe?"
She whispered under her breath, two hours had passed since he rushed off and she already missed him. She knew she couldn't fall for him- because she didn't know him but... she already was, she couldn't help but fall for his gentle voice or his charming personality. Just the thought of him made her heart leap around in her chest and her mouth curve into a bright smile.
She slouched against the back of the bench as her right foot swayed about while her hands were placed in her fluffy coat pocket that covered her mouth completely making her voice all muffled.
"I should probably use tomorrow to experiment with peach flavouring in my Americano, it was a brilliant idea. I'll experiment while making myself a small Christmas meal I guess like I do every year."

Jaemin felt absolutely terrible about leaving her by herself, she was lonely and yet so was he even though he did have loads of bodies in the castle now. He missed people who would start a conversation and actually finish it without having to rush away. He only had a selective few that he actually could spend time with, because they were there for him, to keep him confined within the walls of the castle for as long as possible.
He was allowed to leave yes but as soon as his face was revealed to the public he would no longer be able to do so. He would no longer be able to see her, her beautiful smile, her deep hazel eyes. The reason why he had to rush back was that his father wanted to meet with him and tell him that in May his identity would be revealed regardless of whether someone had found the Sapphire gem or not.
"We can't have the public wait any longer"
He said.
"They need to know what their future heir looks like before it is too late, and what better way to do it than to reveal it at the Mid-year festival as well as announcing your coronation date."
He was going to be King, without his gem, he felt like it wasn't natural as no one had ever become a King or Queen without their gemstone.
"So you're finally going to become King huh? that's cool."
Jeno smiled, being his closest friend he was the first one to know about what his father had told him.
"Jaemin, You're finally getting what you've always wanted, now you've only got to find someone to be by your side."
Donghyuck reassured, his second closest friend to Jeno, if Jeno wasn't around Donghyuck was the person he would go to.
"Yeah, easier said than done, I'm not going to find anyone inside the castle am I? You forget that no Princess living nowadays has a heart or a decent personality. But I might have found someone outside the castle though."
Jaemin couldn't hide forever, he had fallen for Haneul even though they hadn't spent much time with her but he had 5 months to reveal himself to her otherwise she would find out anyway. It was too pressuring and time would fly by.
"Wait, you have? Who is she? How did you meet?"
He wasn't ready to tell anyone yet.
"You'll see when I make her mine."

What do you think? I have no idea where this is going but the story will make itself I guess.
