A/N : Takes place post episode 1x03 but pre episode 1x04

The truth was out now. The so called "Myrsy" had actually been Morso the whole time- The very thing that Aasi feared the most. The thing that kept him up at night. The thing that had reduced him to nothing more than a paranoid hermit for years and years before Morso had come along, his only friend being an annoying old cuckoo clock.

Morso was worried that Aasi would never want to see him again and, considering his initial reaction to the truth, that hadn't seemed like that farfetched of an idea. Morso couldn't even entirely blame him. Sure, it had really hurt to be yelled at by the guy he'd grew to love, but it also wasn't that surprising all things considered. Plus, he had been the one to lie to Aasi since the very beginning. He had been the one to ask to live with him, even knowing full well about the donkey's paranoia.

It wasn't just his fault though, and he understood that. Aasi's reaction had been very aggressive, and the way he went about it all had been less than ideal. But, once he calmed down and realized he still cared about the guy, he had ventured out into the woods to fix things. He apologized for the way he had behaved and invited Morso to continue to live with him. The situation ended up being a blessing in disguise as it forced him to look at his biases towards morsos and get over them.

Now the two found themselves curled up together in the hammock outside. They fit sort of like a puzzle, and that worked out well. The sun beamed down on them with it's harsh rays and it was a bit hot but not painfully so. It was very relaxing- Just the thing they needed after the ordeal of the previous night.

"I'm sorry for lying to you, Aasi" Morso mumbled quietly after awhile of peaceful silence. "It's alright" Aasi assured him with a sigh. "I understand why you did it" he continued, his black and beady eyes staring down at the other creature. "I'm sure hearing my endless ramblings about morsos wasn't the most welcoming thing. I'm just glad you told me eventually, Myrs- I mean, Morso"

"Yeah, well" Morso chuckled slightly. "I still owed you an apology. And, for whatever it is worth, I am glad you let me live with you again" he continued with a loving smile that Aasi couldn't help but return. "You're the first real friend I've ever had, Aasi. I really care about you"

"Aww" Aasi replied. "I really care about you too, Morso"
