Morso simply arrived at the donkey's doorstep one day with a suitcase under his small arms. Perhaps it was a little sudden, and perhaps he came across as a little presumptuous by bringing his stuff with him, but he needed a home and Aasi seemed lonely.

"Who are you and what are you?" Aasi asked the mouse, looking around nervously. Morso had overheard some of the donkey's paranoid ramblings over what horrible creatures mice were. He knew better than to immediately out himself as such. "Why, I can be anything you want me to be" Morso told him, and he swore he saw the donkey blush slightly. "I just need a place to call home, if that would be okay by you"

"Are you homeless?" Aasi questioned, almost looking a bit concerned for the guy. He wasn't particularly fond of the homeless in general, but he was definitely fond of the creature before him. "Something like that" Morso replied with a shrug as he fought to keep his heavy suitcase held up. Aasi smiled and picked it up for him with one of his hooves, which Morso seemed grateful for.

"I understand you to be something of a potential bride, if I am being honest" Aasi said with a chuckle as he scratched at the back of his neck. Now Morso was the one blushing. "Isn't that... But..." the mouse stuttered out, not entirely sure of how to respond. "Wait, is that not the phrase used to describe a female spouse?"

Aasi waved a hoof dismissively at his as he set the suitcase down and allowed the newcomer into his home. "Gender hardly matters, yes?" he replied. "All I know is that I am fond of you and quite glad to have you as a roommate now"

"Yes, well..." Morso responded as he sat down on the couch. "I appreciate your hospitality, husband"
