"I am afraid because I can so clearly foresee my own life rotting away of itself, like a leaf that rots without falling, while I pursue my round of existence from day to day."

Chuuya let out an annoyed sigh. The ongoing headache pounded in his head. His footsteps were loud and clear as it echoed throughout the narrow, dimly lit hallway. His feet started to ache, but he didn't care about that.

The mafioso had came back from a mission about an hour ago, along with his newfound suicidal partner. Speaking of her, she disappeared right as they entered the Port Mafia headquarters without a word. It confused Chuuya so he went out to look for her, but no luck.

The mission Chuuya and (Y/N) were sent on involved something about smuggling illegal drugs from another mafia organization. Chuuya was the one doing all the work and killings while (Y/N) simply stared into space with no expression. It pissed him off that she wasn't focused, but it did make him silently concerned.

Every sharp turn he made, he still hasn't found what he was looking for. This made him halt in his footsteps to think. Where would do go in the first place? The kitchen? Bathroom? There's endless possibilities and the headquarters are awfully big.

Then a lightening bolt struck him. She is probably on the roof.

Chuuya clicked his tongue and immediately dashed to the nearest staircase. He should've known that maniac would probably try and kill herself. He wasn't surprised, frustrated, in fact. He was already stressed enough by the aftermath of the mission and now he had to worry about another thing.

The redhead finally reached the top of the staircase and pushed open a pair of metal doors. A cool breeze suddenly whiplashed him, causing the boy to quickly place his hand on top of his fedora to keep it stable. Once the wind finally faded, Chuuya lowered his hand and walked further away from the doors.

There she was, as expected. (Y/N) sat dangerously on the edge of the tall building, her feet kicking back and forth as she leaned back with her arms to support her body. Her hair fluttered around in the wind, the breeze making her locks  swirl around in different directions. The sun seems to be a disc of gold. The sky is  covered with the red glow of the setting sun, and all the objects of nature put on an alarming appearance. The ripples of the rays look purple within the red glow of the departing sun. Gradually, the sun sinks below the horizon, and also the red tinge of the sky begins to turn. Darkness then covers the entire earth.

Chuuya pursed his lips, a slight furrow between his brows as he stared pointedly at the girl, with an icy coldness. He marched right up to her and place his arms on his hips. "You've got some nerve walking out like that." He hissed.
