This isn't a chapter, more of a small character analysis of Dazai Osamu/(Y/N) because I'm bored. So enjoy my long rant of their personalities and relationships and how it connects to my story!
———————————————————————(L/N) (Y/N) is the ctrl + c of Dazai Osamu.
I think I already made that very clear. In the beginning of the story, I only included a few minor details about what was going on. However, I believe the majority of people are aware that (Y/N) left the mafia without a hint of hesitation. She left behind her job, her home, her subordinates, and her family. The way I described her, it seemed as if she didn't really care in a way, that she actually wanted to leave. But if you look closer in more detail, the inside of (L/N) (Y/N)'s thoughts were running wildly. If she was being completely honest with herself, she had no desire to leave in the first place.
But she did. Only for the sake of a dead man's words.
(L/N) (Y/N) seemed to progress throughout the story. I never described her entrance exam to the Agency, but what I can say is that she was trilled that she managed to get in. The first thought that came to her head was, 'I did it, Odasaku.'
That, in and of itself, should raise an immediate red flag for a variety of reasons. You might be wondering why this is such a big deal. Well, (Y/N) was once a killer. She had the embodiment of a monster branded into her mind and etched into her skin and flesh by Mori and All For One. She was raised to be inhuman. And it was clear as day
that her past will eventually catch up with her, whether she wants it to or not.And it did.
But before I explain further, I would like to say this: (L/N) (Y/N) is the main villain in this story.
Yes, you read that correctly. She is a villain. She may have appeared more heroic because she joined a detective agency and a hero school, but her tainted past will remain with her no matter how hard she tries to forget it. Consider the story of the Hare and the Turtle. However, even though the hare is faster, as the saying goes, "slow and steady wins the race." Even though the hare might take a break, the turtle will eventually catch up. This analogy interprets (Y/N) as the hare and the turtle as her past. Hopefully that makes sense.
Were it not for Oda's death, (Y/N) would still be involved with the mafia and associate with the League. She would still continue her villainous actions and let her kill count grow. If it hadn't been for Oda, she would not have been working for the Agency or applied to U.A.
Technically, the death of Oda was her wake-up call.
Even though he was, she still hasn't changed at all.
