"I am convinced that those people whom the world considers good and respects are all liars and fakes. I do not trust the world."

Sakunosuke Oda is a simple man with an equally simple life. He wakes up, eats, goes to work, eats again, and goes back to sleep. A pretty normal schedule for someone as normal as him.

Case in point: a bloody corpse of a little girl laid by his porch. Now that, was something that wasn't on his to-do list for today.

Oda blinked and stared at the corpse. There were large gashes and bullet holes on the girl's torso, blood pooling out of it and soaking her black clothes. The blood was everywhere, it spilled from the wounds like water off a cliff. On her face, hair, shoes, and even fingers. If Oda didn't look closely, he would've though she wasn't breathing. But, thank god she was.

So, what was he suppose to do now? He had a few options in mind but they all resulted in a consequence he would have to face. One: he could roll her body away, but that would lead her body rolling to the street where cars and people pass by. No doubt someone would see and panic.

Two: he could just leave her there. Then again, someone will obviously notice and report, causing him to get in deep trouble. And he was in no shape in facing the police or heroes again.

Last option: he could take her in.

He decided to stick with that one. For the sake of his well-being and hers.

Oda carefully lifted up the body, the feeling of warm liquid already touching his fingertips made him cringe. He checked her pulse, it was faint but still there. Oda was surprised this girl is still alive due to the massive amounts of blood she lost.

The male gently placed the girl on his couch, not bothering about the red fluids staining it. He swiftly went to his bathroom and opened his medicine cabinet. He spotted rolls of bandages and a few antiseptic wipes. He immediately grabbed them and hurried back to the girl.

Oda dropped the items on the floor and hurried to the kitchen to get a wet rack. Once he got it he went towards the girl and got to work. He started to clean off the blood on her skin and wounds, the white rack turning to a nasty crimson shade. He reminded himself to throw it out later.

When he can finally see the wound clearly, Oda carefully took the black coat off the girl to reveal what seems to be a black suit underneath. He wondered why she was wearing such formal attire but that was the least of his worries. Carefully, Oda rolled up the girl's shirt to only reveal the lower part of her stomach were one of the bullet wounds were. Oda grabbed the antiseptic wipes and rubbed it in the wound. He did it to the other remaining bullet holes. When he finished cleaning it off, he gently wrapped her torso in white bandages.
