"We're bestfriends, you know. Pwede mong sabihin sa akin lahat. Magtiwala ka sa akin." the sixteen year old girl said in worries.

"I'm... pregnant-- please wag mong sasabihin kahit kanino. Promise me!" the other girl said between her sobs.

Her best friend is frozen from her seat, couldn't believe that her bestfriend is pregnant in a young age. They are not even junior high school graduates and yet, this happens to her.

"Okay lang yan. Wag ka nang umiyak. Makakasama yan sa baby mo. Don't worry, hindi ko sasabihin sa iba. But you should tell your parents about--"

"No!" the pregnant girl aggressively stopped her, "Hindi pwedeng malaman ni mama at papa ito. Magwawala sila. Palalayasin nila ako. Baka itakwil pa nila--"

"Hey, calm down. Calm down."the other girl said while tapping the back of her pregnant bestfriend. "How about the guy? Sabihin mo, sino ba ang ama?" she curiously asked.

The pregnant girl gave her a photo of an unfamiliar guy. Her heart beats fast when he saw a hot boy in the photo.

"Siya ang ama, pero ilang linggo na matapos ang break up namin..." the pregnant girl said between tears and out occupied mind.

"Come on, let's tell him and so you two could figure out what to do."the girl suggested but her bestfriend shook her head.

"Ayoko... Simula nang malaman ko kahapon na buntis ako, kahapon ko pa iniisip na ipalaglag ang baby--"

"No! Don't you dare!" the girl angrily stopped her.

She is wondering if her bestfriend is having a mental problem because of stress and anxiety. She is aware that her bestfriend is in depression for the past few months and it will not be good for the fetus inside her womb. And she strongly against abortion. It is not one of her options for her bestfriend.

"Anong gagawin ko? Hindi pa tayo tapos ng high school. Sigurado rin ako na hindi ito tatanggapin ng ama niya. Mataas ang pangarap niya at ganoon din ako. Paano na ako magiging model kung ganito?"

The pregnant girl started crying again. Her bestfriend could not do anything but hug her instead. They both cry out of hopelessness. Both young and new to such thing and do not know what to do. Not yet ready for the challenge they both know.

"Tapos na ang graduation bago pa man lumaki ang tyan mo. Kung gusto mo, don ka na muna sa unit ko hanggang sa manganak ka. Ako na ang bahalang magsabi kay tito at tita, alam naman nila na lagi kang welcome don. Please, wag mong ipapalaglag ang bata. Siguradong may iba pang paraan." she encouraged her best friend.

"You think?" she asked, starting to hesitate about abortion.

"Syempre naman. Marami pa tayong oras para pag-isipan ito. You need to be strong and I will always be here for you."

"Thank you so much. Thank you..."

They hugged each other once more when there was a thing that came into the mind of the girl.

"What if... What if you surrender the baby for adaption instead of abortion?"

She thinks about it for few more hours before they decided to get out of the karaoke room. No one from the outside could hear or see them and they are very free to talk. The pregnant girl is thinking a lot about it but hesitating at the same time for specific fears. Nothing for them is sure but they will always have each other's back.

Being part of the teenage pregnancy issue they studied a lot in school was never been easy in real moment. Being unprepared is worst and knowing nothing from the lectures in school could help is even worse.

All they know about is that they are now part of the unjustified society full of judgements from the old age minded people. And they both want to have is... JUSTICE.
