Trevor's PoV

I am honestly impressed. Kahit ang mga rookie na kasama ko, naguguluhan pa rin sa evidences na nakita namin, but then this weird lady beside me just had it right.

I never made a mistake on my conclusions, that's why. The killer is a kid. That explains why everything is messed up.

She is right, evidences were not hidden or destroyed because the kid won't figure out how to do that and the kid might had run away from fear and guilt. The killer had no time to clean the mess thinking that running away or hiding is the best option to do. It is an accidental murder case.

"Ano sa tingin mo? Pareho tayo ng iniisip, tama ba?" I looked at her and nodded without hesitating. I don't know if I can trust her but she is like someone who can be an ally. I saw her suddenly becomes sad and worried. "Pano na yan?" she asked.

"What do you mean?"

What could be making her think too much? She looks like really concerned person.

"Kawawa naman yung bata. For sure, habang buhay niyang dadalhin ang bagay na yon. Nag-aalala ako," she looked at me and I froze for a moment when I saw how sad her eyes are. "Siguradong nahihirapan na siya ngayon. What could happen to the kid, Trevor?"

I immediately shifted my eyes from her when I realized that I am looking deeper at those mesmerizing eyes. Why does it feel like my system is changing when she is with me?

"That's none of your business. I think you should go now. Leave this to us." I coldly said without trying to look at her.

She opened the door after a few moments. When she closed the door, I breathed deeply. Why can't I breathe when I was with her?

I shook the thoughts away and drove to go back to the office where I work. I should get this done right now. The case should be solved now.

Lia's Point of View

I am pouting when I get out of Trevor's car. He even drove fast!

How could he be so inconsiderate? Aish!

Anyway, mag-isa naman akong pumunta dito. And I think, I should go alone.

Hindi pa ako nakakalayo nang makita ko si...

"Director Gab?"

Naglakad ako palapit sa taong nakita ko sa hindi kalayuan. And I am surprised to see him here.

"So, this is the reason why you didn't come to our team dinner?" he confronted.

I bit my lower lip. It's not definitely because of this pero dito niya ako nakita kaya wala akong ibang maidadahilan. I just nodded. He might get angry because team dinner is an important event for us, too. Pero natigilan ako ng makita na ngumiti siya. Ilang beses akong napakurap. I didn't expect him to smile.

"It's fine, Miss Constancia. And besides, the dinner is cancelled because of some matters." he said. "I think you should go home, it's dangerous for you to be here. And hindi ka pwedeng ma-late sa trabaho bukas." he added as if he is concerned.

I nodded, "Yes, Sir." I said before walking away from the area. I noticed him following until we reached the shiny car that I think is his'. I continued walking until I heard him call my name.

"I'll take you home, Ms. Constancia. Get in," he offered. I confusedly look at him. Why is he doing this, anyway? The door of the passenger seat is widely open and he gestured me to hop in. I hesitated but decided to get in the car. Wala namang masamang ibig sabihn ang ginawa niya and besides, he is trying to be a good employer.

Pumasok kaagad siya nang makasakay ako. He started driving and I am not suprised when he knows where to take me. He has my personal information after all. Few minutes of silent ride passed when I decided to break it.
