Trevor's Point of View

I don't know why my arms are crossed while watching that news reporter instead of doing my job.

This case will be easily solved if I am helping the team. I am their ace, by the way. But things are clearly different.

I didn't notice myself staring at her for longer than I should. Specialists are already studying the body of the victim. Kapag ibinigay na nila ang resulta, mabilis na naming magagamit ang clues ng walang pag-aalinlangan. But I have my conclusions already.

"Trev!" napalingon ako sa detective na tumawag sa akin. "Titig na titig, ah? Baka matunaw si miss reporter nyan." natatawa niyang biro sa akin.

The mother of the victim caught my attention. She is crying and looks like she is out of herself. Then she suddenly punched the tree on a nearby area. May ilang lumapit sa kanya at pinatigil siya. Pinagbawalan na ang mga tao na lumapit sa crime scene area dahil hindi pa tapos ang imbestigasyon. Real evidences might be destroyed by the real suspect.

Hindi nagpaawat ang ina ng biktima. Nagsimula siyang magwala hanggang sa nakita kong lumapit siya sa news reporter mula sa ibang tv station.

Bigla na lang niyang hinila ang buhok nito at itinulak ang camera man. Then she run towards the GKN news reporter that I took here.

"Muli, ako si Malia--"

Oh! Sh*t!

I run towards them when I saw how the mother of the victim slammed her arms on the reporter. Everyone is in fear and shock because of the behavior of the old lady.

Pero lahat kami ay natigilan ng biglang magsalita si Malia Constancia habang mahigpit na hinahawakan ang mic niya.

"Nakikiramay po ang buong news station sa pagkawala ng inyong anak," seryoso at malungkot na sabi niya na kaagad na nakapagpatigil sa pagwawala ng ginang. "Asahan niyo po na gagawin ng mga pulis ang lahat para sa hustisya na nararapat sa inyo at sa anak ninyo."

I can feel her emotion inside the serious face she gives at the camera and to the mother of the victim. It feels like she is saying the words that the old lady needs to hear at the moment.

Muli siyang tumingin sa camera at nagsalita. "Kung sino man ang may alam tungkol sa bagay na ito, lumapit lang kayo sa mga pulis at makipagtulingan. Muli, ako si Malia Constancia para sa GKN news."

Kaagad na pinatay ng camera man ang camera at sumakay sila sa van kasama ang isang lalaki na may computer set. Lumapit ako kay Malia para tanungin kung ayos lang siya.

I know that she is a newbie on this field. But she acts like a pro. Hindi pa ako tuluyang nakakalapit ng makita ko ang sumunod na ginawa niya.

She hugged the mother of the victim. I never thought someone would do that to another person, who just embarrassed her nationwide.

Matapos siyang ipahiya sa harap ng camera, niyakap pa niya ang ginang para pagaanin ang loob nito. I can see how clean she is and how she perfectly smells compared to the old lady who had her dirty clothes as if she never took bath for a while. I don't know if the reporter is doing this for her good image, but the way she shares the emotions she had really different views.
