Trevor's point of view

Malia left me yesterday night. I think she needs to see a doctor.

I sighed when I looked at the clock. It's almost afternoon and I think, she is not coming today here in the station. I guess she is mad. But there is nothing she should be mad about.

Hindi rin normal ang ganito dahil hindi naman niya pinaghahalo ang trabaho at personal na bagay.

I called her for many times but she never picked it up even once. Is she going to ignore me longer? This is not good.

My phone rings so I quickly looked at it, hoping that it is her. But unregistered number popped up.

"Hello?" I coldly greeted the person who called me.

'Um, ikaw ba si Trevor?' a voice of a female I once heard asked. Saan ko nga ba siya narinig dati? 'Ah, ako si Gina. Friend ako ni Lia. Kilala mo siya diba?' she awkwardly asked.

"Yes," I am wondering what she is going to tell me. But her voice sounded worried.

'Kasi, gusto ko lang malaman kung nandyan ba si Lia ngayon? Pwede ko ba siyang nakausap? I mean, ang alam ko sa police station siya naka-assign for the whole week. Nandyan ba siya? Kagabi pa niya hindi sinasagot ang tawag ko.'

I froze from my spot when I heard everything she said.

"Hindi siya pumunta sa station ngayon. What do you mean?" I asked before I decided to take the key of my car and went outside.

'Wala siya dyan? She never ignored my call, kasi palagi ko siyang binigyan ng update kay Felix. Pero hindi siya umuwi kagabi sa unit niya. Kaya hindi ko nasabi na dinala ko na lang si Felix sa bahay ng parents niya.' she worriedly said.

"We separated ways last night. I haven't seen her here."

Have she gone missing?

Where is she?

Why didn't she showed up?

Why is she doing this?

Is she in danger?

No way.

Flood of questions sticks in my head. I shouldn't have let her leave last night.

I drove my car to the places I think she could be seen. But there is no trace of her.

Few hours have passed and this is really driving me crazy. Her phone is out of coverage.

What should I do?

I could never forgive myself if something bad happens to her.

Lia's point of view

I quickly opened my phone while hiding. Sobrang lakas ng tibok ng puso ko and I am doing my best not to be caught.

Nagising na lang ako sa loob ng isang malaking empty building kanina. There are voices of men who are looking for me. Do I know them?

What should I do?

Hindi ko na nagawang punasan man lang ang mga luha sa mukha ko. I am scared enough to move.

I am hiding behind a car that is almost broken. What am I doing here?

Ang naalala ko lang, iniwan ko si Trevor sa sasakyan kagabi. And then I don't know what exactly happened after.

"Hanapin niyo siya!!!" sigaw ng isang boses na sobrang nakakatakot.

Biglang tumunog ang cellphone ko kaya dali dali ko itong sinagot.

"Trevor!" I whispered, enough for him to hear me and know how scared I am.

"Malia? What happened? Nasaan ka?"

I know that he is worried like he was looking for me all this time. It is almost sunset and everything is really messy around me.

"Hindi ko alam. May mga lalaki na hinahanap ako. Hindi ko alam kung nasaan ako. Tulungan mo ako, please!"

Hindi ko na napigilan na umiyak. I don't know what is going to happen. I am scared like a child here.

"Nakita ko na siya!" someone from my back announced.

Nanlaki ang mga mata ko at nakita ang isang nakakatakot na lalaki sa likuran ko. I stood up and tried to run. Pero na corner nila ako sa isang sulok.

"Sino ba kayo? Anong kailangan niyo sakin?" kahit natatakot, nilakasan ko ang loob ko para magsalita.

'Malia?!!!'

Bigla na lang hinila ng isa sa kanila ang buhok ko.

"Ahhhh!!"

Inagaw ng isa sa kanila ang cellphone na hawak ko. Tinitigan niya ito at napangisi.

"Officer Trevor?" he darkly greeted. "Long time no see. Naaalala mo pa ba kami?"

Nagtawanan ang mga kasama niya kaya bigla akong kinilabutan. Anong nangyayari?

"Mukang masarap ang alay mo samin, Trev pare."

Nagtawanan na naman sila.

"Pumunta ka rito at wag kang magsasama ng kahit sino, kung hindi, hindi mo na makikitang buhay ang babaeng 'to." banta ng lalaki sa harapan ko.

"Anong ibig mong sabihin?" my voice trembles a lot. There's no way I could have another interpretation from what he just said. He smirked at me that scares me even more.

"Hindi... Huwag kang pupunta dito Trevor!! Wag kang makinig--ah!"

I felt my stomach aches a lot when the big guy punched me. I cough with blood that and my body becomes weaker.

"Ano ba'ng gusto niyo?" I almost whispered.

"Ikaw gusto kita. Reporter ka, eh. Siguradong magandang balita ito kapag pinagpyestahan sa kalsada ang bangkay mo."

Muli na naman silang nagtawanan na para bang biro lang ito sa kanila.

All I think about is Trevor. What will they do to him? What should I do?

Please... Somebody help us...

My sight slowly turns dark. No... Please don't... Not yet...

I don't want to die... Not yet...

I still have plans for the future... Not yet...

"I'm sorry... Trevor." that's the last thing that came out my mouth before everything went out of my sight.

There are so many things I wanted to tell him. There are still things I wanted to do right. There are still many things I wanted to prove.

But I will trust Trevor and leave everything to him. I believe in him no matter what.

Gab's Point of View

I picked up Trev's call even if I am in a meeting.

"Anon--"

"Nakuha nila Bing si Malia."

My heart beats really heavy and fast. Bing and his group was our worst enemy since high school. Mga gangster sila na palaging sinasaktan ang mga humaharang sa daan nila o ang malalapit sa mga ito. I immediately excused myself from the conference room.

"Don't go, Trev. May naisip akong---"

"Malia is there, Gab! What are you saying? Alam kong sasaktan nila si Malia kung hindi ako pupunta--"

"They play dirty games, Trev. Mapapahamak ka. May papupuntahin ako sa kanila. Tell me where they are."

I hope I am not yet late. I called Malia's older brother. He can handle this. I know he would. Sana lang umabot sila na hindi na hindi nalalagay sa panganib si Malia at Trevor.
