When you walk across a field of sunflowers, you see the yellow, magnificent heads of them. They stretch their faces toward the sun, enjoying every ray of sunshine and paying no attention at all to the shadows they cast. They stand there optimistically, not letting even the heaviest rain get them down, offering shelter. You can hide under their leaves as if you were one of the little daisies.
Eight months had passed since Choi Yeonjun and Choi Beomgyu had gotten together, and despite this long time, the couple showed absolutely no sign of this period. They were cuddled together on the couch, while their roommate Kai had made himself comfortable on the armchair. Together they watched an anime as usual.
But not just any anime.
It was the series in which Beomgyu had taken on a voice acting role. The first in his new career, with which he was also overjoyed. And he was really surprised by the series called 'World Trigger', he was really excited that such a good story could come out of someone like Cha Eunwoo. And Beomgyu himself was incredibly proud of himself on one hand, but it also made him embarrassed because he didn't tell his boyfriend and roommate what role he had spoken.
And it didn't take long either, because Beomgyu had actually gotten one of the main roles, which still amazed him. He was nervous, and every now and then he squinted at his roommates as his character burst in the door, his dark hair blowing in disarray and the latter adjusting his glasses. It wasn't until the voice rang out, clearly belonging to Beomgyu, that the two boys sat up in surprise and immediately burst into loud cheers. Both of them stretched their arms upwards, beaming over both ears.
"Oh God, honey, you even look good in anime!" exclaimed Yeonjun enthusiastically, beaming from ear to ear. A year ago, the black-haired man would have laughed at anime, even mocked it. But as soon as he moved in with the two younger ones, they turned him into a bit of a geek. Meanwhile, the former player loved to watch anime with his friends. He even pronounced most of the titles correctly by now, and as he wrapped his arms around his boyfriend Beomgyu's body, he pressed him into a kiss. He was unspeakably proud of him, even if the thought of Cha Eunwoo made him gag.
