The evening at Daisy went longer than expected, but that was largely due to Wooyoung and San, because they really knew how to set the mood. As a result, Yeonjun and Beomgyu had arrived home rather late and fallen straight into bed, even later than their nestling, who had said goodbye much earlier with his new roommates. Still, Beomgyu, who hadn't drunk as much as expected yesterday, woke up before his older friend and decided to make the black-haired man breakfast as reconciliation.

In all these months, the dark-haired Choi hadn't necessarily gotten any better at cooking, but he was still able to prepare two slightly oversalted fried eggs and a piece of toast. On a tray and together with freshly made coffee, Beomgyu brought the food into the bedroom, hoping that the aroma would wake up his still slumbering boyfriend.

But it didn't.

So he placed the rack used to eat in bed on the mattress at the level of Yeonjun's thigh and reached out to stroke the older man's cheek. "Hey sunflower, wake up! I made you breakfast."

Because he was actually a light sleeper, the 27-year-old was awakened by the soft, deep voice and blinked up at his boyfriend. "Oh, wow," the latter mumbled sleepily, rubbing his tired cat eyes. He hummed in pleasure and stroked the warm hand against his cheek. "How come?"

"I wanted to apologize for my behavior yesterday," the younger man mumbled, kneeling beside the bed and placing his chin on the edge of the mattress to look at his friend.

Yeonjun turned to the side, still snuggled under the covers, and smirked. He loved it when Beomgyu came up with his reconciliation tactics. So he raised his index finger and rested it on the kneeling man's snub nose. "You punished me though you started it."

"Not true at all!", Beomgyu immediately defended himself, his voice getting only a little louder before lapsing back into the pouting tone. "You rejected me at first, but it was stupid of me to take it personally because Kai moved out," the dark-haired man brought out, pressing his chin into the foam until his lips disappeared into it as well. "I'm sorry," Beomgyu grumbled, then looked to breakfast. "Do you forgive me?"

Yeonjun flicked playfully against the younger man's forehead. "When did I turn you down, please?" he asked with raised eyebrows and propped himself up on his elbows, showing how incredibly disheveled his mane was again. As if he had been hibernating. Meanwhile, he tried to pull Beomgyu onto the bed by one arm.
