With an exuberant yawn, Beomgyu turned to the inside of the bed, not feeling the slightest desire to get up before noon, especially on the weekend.
Especially not on a Saturday.
And Yeonjun only felt the same, but not necessarily because of this Saturday, but because he had absolutely not slept well. Merely a few hours he had slept and when Beomgyu finally woke up too, he held him tightly in his arms.
Today was the big day.
The day he would ask him.
And when he thought about it, his stomach tightened. He was incredibly nervous and tense, just hoping Beomgyu wouldn't notice.
But the latter was just happy to be able to cuddle with his friend some more, and wrapped an arm around Yeonjun's body, stroking his back lovingly. A contented hum came over his lips as he placed them on the black haired man's shoulder. "Nothing exciting planned for today anyway, right?" asked Beomgyu half asleep.
With a snort, Yeonjun snapped his eyes open, glancing around the room.
No, not at all.
It was just a very big step in their relationship that could possibly change everything.
That could change their complete feelings.
"Eh...no," he lied, even though it didn't feel good to lie to him. "Why?"
Denying this, Beomgyu turned his head back and forth, only burying his face more against Yeonjun's chest. He slid his right hand under his friend's side, as if he didn't even want to leave the air between them. "Kai's already at work too, isn't he?" the younger Choi mumbled instead, eyes still covered by his eyelids and his long lashes.
"I'm sure he is, he has an early shift today," Yeonjun grumbled, scratching the back of his friend's head. He knew that for a fact, because Kai had changed his shift so that the two of them could be home alone. Afterwards, he sighed with pleasure, loving the morning cuddle. And he equally loved looking at the boy in the morning.
Beomgyu looked simply adorable with that sleepy face, red cheeks and lips.
"Well," Beomgyu grumbled softly, "I'll make us breakfast later." For he would much rather stay in bed for a few more hours and spend the time with his sunflower. At that, he sent his free hand wandering down Yeonjun's back, but noticed the slight tension, so he opened his eyes slightly. "You're so stiff," he remarked, tickling the spot between his shoulder blades with his fingertips, "are you okay?"
