Turning the page, I indulged in reading the breathtaking part of the book.
It says that the girl on her wedding night was waiting for her husband. Being nervous and scared for the first time, sitting on the bed she was quietly expecting him to enter at any time.
Her husband was a High-Rank soldier of a renowned Sultanate.
And Suddenly, the door of her medium size cottage pushed open and she saw him coming through her veil.
His footsteps were slow which was racing her heartbeats along with the slightly chilly winds hitting her often this late night. The only light lamp was lit a little far from her, which was maintaining a good amount of light inside the room.
He came closer and sat beside her. She hesitated a little as she never saw or talked to him before. Though, her friends and family did tell her about his physique and look.
She felt his hand as he slowly pulled her veil up but there was a timidness in her to look into his eyes.
"You are beautiful,"
He commented and pulled the veil down making her heart race even more.
Slowly, he held her hand and started taking off the bangles.
She lifted her gaze to him and realized that her husband was one with godly looks and he was really young, yet his body was well built and tall enough to increase her nervousness.
Their eyes met and the slight smirk on her husband's face made her forget that her hands were free of bangles now.
He took a breath coming closer and cupped her cheek slowly, feathering a little. She shivered a little and then a small kiss from him on her cheek made her heart beats race insanely.
She blinked nervously and I didn't know why reading all that was making me blush madly. My stomach was getting knit reading about her wedding night.
I remembered the glimpse of mine when he kissed my hand slowly and the visions of small moments that we spent together. Unknowingly reading about them was making me blush like beetroot.
I read further as it says that her husband leans forward to her ear and muttered something playful. She blushed hard and looked directly into his eyes. Her eyes were carrying a shocked yet questioning look.
He pulled her closer and lifted his eyebrows questioning her something in that sign language.
She hesitated a little. Not knowing what to answer, she nodded her face silently. Her husband smiled and leaned in closer to kiss her neck.
Suddenly.
"Unki ungliyan hamari gardan se reng kar jism par ek bijli si chala rahi thi. Unki Chuan mere baajuo par ek esi chingari laga rahi thi jese maano ek shamma ke kareeb jaane parwana machal raha ho,"
"His fingers danced from my neck to the body electrifying me. His touch on my arm was pulling me like a moth to a fire,"
My eyes instantly noticed the manly voice coming from beside and my gaze turned to realize that Sultan was lying beside me and reading the book aloud.
I was scared to death.
My eyes just came out of sockets.
I didn't know what shook me more, he read the book or his presence all of sudden.
I looked at him. His face glowing from sunlight and mine was looking for something to hide from this immense shame I was feeling.
He just caught me reading a romance book. Even at the scene where they were making love. Urghh.
