Ruhani POV

I woke up early today without anyone's help.

As the state of my mind was not seeming on line as I was feeling really restless with the fact that he must be waiting for me.

It was early morning and the thought started suffocating me. I stepped down the bed and opened the curtains to my bedroom.

The sun was about to rise and I decided to do my morning businesses now.

After getting ready for the day, I took out a book as books make me feel calm down.

I lied on the bed, opening the book and started reading.

I got indulge in the spritual material as I didn't hear Nandani calling.

"Ruhani,"

She called and I noticed her.

I sat up instantly and she complaints.

"I called you three times. Why are you busy?"

She asked snatching the book and I turned my gaze to the window. It was late morning as the sunrays was falling into the chamber.

I turned my sight back to her and shook my face telling 'Nothing'

"Okay, the henna artist arrived already. Everyone is waiting for you,"

She said and I smiled widely.

The arrival of Henna artist only made me feel happy again. I turned excited all of sudden.

Woah! It was my Mehndi day. I remembered how everyone was so worried last time on my Mehndi as on this day my father sent him the letter regarding my muteness because he believed that he was unaware of the fact.

But, today it was my day!

I nodded looking at Nandani and she took me to the celebration hall. My sight fell on everyone as the gents got ready in the white attire while the ladies were in light green.

I smiled looking at them and they asked me to sit in the middle.

"So,"

Nandani started.

"Today, each one of us is going to apply henna and the catch is every has write their husbands names,"

Everyone chuckled and I remembered how last time the henna artist forgot to write Sultan's name over my hand.

"Okay, Ruhani,"

Nandani looked at me and I smiled nodding.

Then, everyone sat and the henna started. There were a dance performance arranged by the popular tribal artists and it started along.

The henna artist was very talented as she created small and different patterns on my hand and it was looking beautiful.

I wasn't wearing any bangles to help her easily do her business. She applied the henna till the middle of my lower arm.

And, she started with my legs.

I looked at Nandani who was also sitting along a henna artist and doing same.

Suddenly, Haider came and sat next to me.

His face little worried and I looked at him shifting a little.

I thinned my eyebrows with the weak smile and he looked at the henna artist who was the only person able to hear our talks.

I shook my head to not care about her and asked him about what happened.
