Ruhani POV

"OPEN THE GATES,"

The guards did the same and he quickly ran through it and I followed.

I Increased the speed to match his and my body jumped over the saddle with the horse chasing the other.

The wind felt sharper, the noise of footsteps of horses sending chills down my spine and my eyes darted to his horse as even a long blink could make me lose his trace.

We crossed the boundaries of the Sultan, leading to a dense forest around. His horse was so faster than mine and I had to make efforts to keep running after him.

We ran for a long and ran deep into the forest.

We were in the middle of the dense forest and my horse neighed while jumping over a small puddle. The forest was smelling like fresh rain as it rained a lot last night.

He might have noticed the sound as he suddenly stopped and turned to look back.

I also pulled the reins of my horse when I reached almost close to him.

"What the hell are you doing here?"

He asked jumping down off the horse.

I also stepped down and he stared angrily at me.

"Go back, Ruhani,"

His eyes were burning with anger and his body was tensed and restless. The blood rushed to his face and the veins on his arm were now visible.

I tried to shake my head and he angrily came closer making me look into his eyes closely.

"You do not have to see my anger, Ruhani. Go back,"

His mouth dripped authority and anger and for the first time, I could see him differently than I ever witnessed.

Courageously, I stood to my ground and shook my face again.

And, I shivered to the core when he suddenly pulled out his sword and kept it in front of me to scare the hell out of me.

"GO BACK. This is not safe,"

I took a step back with fear and his actions were now making me feel threatened about his safety. He was angry as hell.

And, the fact was that I had never seen him angry like that. So, I did not know how calm his anger down.

But, if his sword was out to scare me and make me go back leaving him alone. I had to answer him.

My hand traveled to my own sword and using my strength the silence I pulled out my sword and kept the pointy end right to his chest.

Yes, silence used to be my weakness in the beginning. But, I learned how to make it my strength. A moment of silence in the anger could make you have fewer regrets. A moment of silence in the excitement could make you spare doing the things you do not want. The silence was my strength and I had learned how to silently move quickly and use my sword to cut.

"Seriously,"

He muttered and looked sharply into my eyes.

"Go back Ruhani. This is no fun,"

But, rather than listening, I moved my sword in my hand and attacked his sword challenging him. It created a chiseling sound and he looked at me with slight shock and anger even more.
