Chapter 45

All night we partied on the yacht and I was really tired. It was almost sunrise and Ney and I were sitting together looking at the sky and the water. I leaned on his shoulders.

"Tired babe?" He asked.

"Yeah.." I answered. And we both sat there as the sun started rising, we finally reached our place and went to the hotel. I changed and went straight to bed as I was exhausted. Ney joined me after a while and we both slept.

When I woke up I had many miscalls from dad and Crissy, I wondered what was wrong. I called my dad but he didn't pick up so I called Crissy.

"Crissy what's wrong why so many calls?" I asked her as soon as she answered.

"C.. cciiiaaaa.. mmmmoom.. mom.." she was sobbing.

"What's wrong...what happened to mom?" I was panicking.

"Just.. come home .... ccc.. cia." She was crying now.

"I will but tell me what's wrong?" I was worried.

"Moms in the hospital.. please come home Cia. Mom has cancer." She said.

"What cancer? From when?" I asked her.

"I didn't know either, she hid it from us.. just come please."

"I'm coming I'm coming right now. I'm coming, just take care of mom." I disconnected the call.

My mom has cancer. Now everything was making sense why she wanted to spend time with me. Without delay, I started packing in a state of shock. My mom is sick. She has cancer. I was just murmuring this and packing.

"Cia what's wrong why are you packing?" I could hear Ney but I had to pack and leave now.

"Ciaaa... talk to me... cia.. what's wrong?" I was completely ignoring him.

He gave me a little shake and I stared at my bag as tears started flowing. Ney hugged me tightly.

"Why are you crying, honey?" He was worried to look at me in such a state.

"My mom has cancer Ney. She's in the hospital. I have to leave now." I cried for a while and Ney just sat there holding me.

"I will come with you." He broke the silence.

"It's okay Ney I can handle it and you have to be in Barcelona remember? You stay here and enjoy the rest of the vacation with your family." I answered.

"But I wanna be with you." He looked at me.

"I wish you could too Ney but you can't. I will be okay I promise." I stood up and finished packing.

Ney took me to the airport and it was right on time I had to board the plane.

"Call me as soon as you land and please be strong and dont cry okay.. take care of my life you got it. Dont let her be weak and sad." He hold me tight and I nodded my head.

"Dont worry I will be alright. You too take care of yourself okay." I looked at him and he nodded his head.

"I love you." He kissed me and I smiled and replied "I love you too." Then I boarded my plane.
