chapter 6 -flashback VI

After Kathleen and Ney got together, Ney started to be super busy we only got time to talk with one another. We drifted apart but still, he came to the house to meet me sometimes and I saw him at parties and days out and stuff.

David and others had made a plan to go to Hawaii for a week and they invited me too. I asked dad and he said that I could go. Even Rafa was going and we both were excited. Rafa and I meet up almost every day in the evening she knew that I had some feelings for Neymar but I had made her promise not to tell Ney about that.

We were supposed to leave today at 2. Mr. Santos drove Rafa, Ney, and me to the airport. As Kathleen was already in Hawaii I got to sit with Ney on the plane.

"Been a while since we hang out Cia" He said

"Yeah! it feels like ages before." I looked at my phone.

"Wanna talk?" He asked but I really wasn't up for it.

"I think I just wanna sleep." That's all I said and plugged in my headphones and closed my eyes. I could feel he was watching me like a hawk for several minutes till he gave up because I didn't wake up. As soon as we reached Hawaii, where she was the perfect girlfriend waiting for Neymar at the airport and he came running at him when she saw him and they both hugged. I was a little down when I saw that until someone came behind me.  It was Rafa. 

"Cheer up girl" She tickled me till I laughed.

Even Oscar gave me a "are you okay" look and I nodded my head.

We went to the hotel and Rafa and I were staying in the same room. Rafa not only came to enjoy with us but she also had a photoshoot in Hawaii. We freshen up and went down to eat and then went to enjoy the beach.

I just sat with Rafa, whereas, others were enjoying the beach. That's when Ney and Kathleen arrived. I was trying to stay far from Ney because one, I didn't want him to know how I feel and second, I didn't want to be the reason they broke up.

"Hey, Rafs. Cia" He smiled whereas Kathleen she got too much attitude.

"Hey," We both said at the same time which made us laugh.

"Everyone who came here is a couple, this was supposed to be a couples trip than what you doing here Ciara. " Kathleen blurted out.

I was speechless. I just looked at Ney who didn't know what to say his face looked blank and Rafa was staring at her.

"She's with me, Kathleen. She's my girl." I turned around to see Oscar

"Hey, babe. " Oscar hugged me. I could see the look on her face and Ney just stared at me. They both took off to the water as Kathleen was basically pulling Neymar. Neymar looked shocked and disappointed.

"Thanks, Oscar you're a live saver." I smiled

Rafa, I and Oscar sat there for a while and Rafa had to leave for her shoot.

"I will be back soon. You take care alright." She hugged me and left.

"Oscar.." I suddenly called him and he looked at me.

"Can you act be my boyfriend till I leave for England?" I asked him nervously.

"Sure." He smiled. And said "What?? You're going back?"

"Yeah. I had thought of studying in Brazil but not anymore I wanna go far for some time so, I'm leaving." I said to him with some tears in my eyes.

"When will you be leaving?  Does Neymar know about this? Does anyone know about this?" He asked me all flustered.

"I have a little more than a month now. No, none knows yet. You're the first one to know." I managed to talk but it was really getting difficult.

"Hey,  Oscar can I talk to Cia for a while?" Ney asked suddenly.

"Yeah sure... I will be with the others." He looked at me.

"What's up Ney?" I acted normal

"You and Oscar huh? How? When? Why didn't you tell me?." He looked at me.

 "Umm... Well! I don't know when and how Ney but I always felt something every time I spent time with him. And for the last 3 months, we are always together and we're even texting all the time. It just happened Ney." I faked a smile.

"That's great Cia but you should have told me." He said.

"I didn't get the chance to tell to tell Ney and you may know why." I saw Kathleen coming, so, I stood up to leave "See you around Ney." I said and headed towards Oscar without even once turning back.
