(I've never written poly relationships before so if there is anything wrong please let me know so I can change it)

Race ran as fast as he could, chasing the feeling of the world disappearing.

He ran and ran as the feelings inside him began to fade away.

Despite the pain in his chest and his legs he just kept running.

Until he ran face first into something.

Luckily for him that something was his older brother.

He cursed loudly as he fell backwards.

"Race, what are you doing out? It's ten and you have work tomorrow."

Race looked around, not realising he'd ran quite so far away.

He was living in Brooklyn with his two boyfriends, he could still go to Manhattan easily to see his family so he thought it was handy.

By some great feat, he'd managed to not notice that he'd ran to Manhattan.

"I was bored and decided to go for a run," Race explained, failing to mention where he ran from. "Lost track of time I guess."

"Racer, you're in Manhattan. I know you didn't lose track of time," Jack stated. "Did something happen between you three? Need me to kill anyone?"

"No, nothing happened. Just me and my stupid head," Race laughed dryly.

Jack pulled Race into a hug. "What are you thinking?"

"Just the normal, they'll leave me, they don't actually love me. That kind of stuff."

"You know that's not true, right?" Jack brushed a leaf off of Race's shoulder. "They love you so much and they won't leave you."

Race nodded, still unsure.

"I'll bring you home," Jack told him. "I want to make sure you're safe."

"Jack," Race whined," I'm nineteen."

"And I'm twenty-one," Jack stated. "I'm walking my baby brother home."

Race grumbled but agreed nonetheless, even if he said no he knew Jack would follow him to make sure he was safe.

Jack kept an arm around Race's shoulders the entire walk.

When they reached the apartment block Race made Jack leave, he knew he'd probably caused his boyfriends to worry and he needed to face it himself.

He dreaded opening the front door, what if they were mad at him? What if they didn't want him to come home?

As soon as he was in the front door he was almost body slammed by Albert rushing to hug him, Spot was following shortly behind too.

"Race, where were you?" Albert asked.

"We tried calling you," Spot added. "It kept going straight to voicemail."

"I'm sorry. My phone died and then I lost track of time and I ended up in Manhattan and I'm so sorry," Race rambled.

"It's okay baby, you don't need to be sorry. We were just worried." Spot pulled Race into his chest.

Albert nodded in agreement, hugging Race from behind.

"How did you end up in Manhattan though?" he asked.

"I just ran and didn't pay attention to where I was running, I'm sorry."

"Don't be sorry love," Albert reassured him.

Spot gently kissed Race on his forehead. "Yeah, you haven't done anything wrong."

Race nodded into Spot's shoulder. "Can we cuddle?" he asked quietly.

"Of course," Albert said as he motioned for Spot to pick up their boyfriend.

Spot lifted Race up and started to carry him into their bedroom.

"I have legs," Race complained. "I can walk to the bedroom."

"We know you can but you did a long run so you can give your legs a rest now," Spot told him.

Spot lay Race down gently on their bed while Albert got out one of Spot's shirts and his own sweatpants for Race to wear.

Race watched carefully as they did so, he didn't want to annoy them with his problems.

Obviously, his boyfriends picked up on the conflicted look on his face.

Albert sat down on his left while Spot sat on his right.

"What's wrong love?" Albert asked. "You look really upset."

Race shook his head and tried to move from the middle. "I'm fine, just tired."

"Racer, we know that's not true," Spot stated. "But we know you're tired so we'll talk tomorrow, how does that sound?"

Race nodded and flopped himself down in between his boyfriends. "Fine."

Spot and Albert chuckled at how he was lying like a starfish.

"Do you want cuddles now?" Albert asked.

Race nodded. "Yes please."

Albert grabbed the clothes for Race while Spot started taking off his shoes and running clothes.

"If you put your clothes on me." Race waved his finger between the two boys. "I will not be happy."

"Oops, too bad," Albert said with fake surprise.

Despite his statement, Race was happy when he was in his boyfriends' clothes.

It smelled like them.

Spot lifted Race up while Albert curled himself into Spot's side.

Once Albert was comfy, Spot lay Race down on top of both of them.

Race rested his head on Spot's chest while holding Albert's hand.

Spot had one arm wrapped around Albert's waist and the other around Race's.

Albert was playing with Race's hair with his free hand while Race traced shapes on Albert's chest with his.

"I love you both," Race mumbled, half asleep from Albert playing with his hair.

"Love you too Racer," both his boyfriends replied before saying their 'I love you's to each other.

Race drifted asleep quickly, enjoying Spot's heartbeat in his ear and Albert's hands in his hair.
